The fraud is a very serious one, and it is a disappointment that two Reverend Sisters are involved. They should be stripped of their vestments |

One needs to look at the activities of the CAC, it seems people with funds and connection can just do anyhow, in a correct system if your are a share holder or director you ought to be notified about changes made to your status in a company registered on the CAC platform. This is what happen when the emphasis is only on revenue collection and not value creation. I see cases of people registering a company with the name of an already existing one. The activities of CAC staff engaged in these dubious activities via the backend needs to be investigated. Imagine someone stripping you of your rights as a director in the company you helped to build.? ![]() |

1.2 billion na small money? This government that we are paying tax to, and are not seeing the money. One may not know when he or she will want to do something bad to invade paying these taxes. Anyway, let the investigation continue, but I know that nothing much will still happen, because EFCC is most at times a corrupt agency for intimidating and coercing politicians for joining APC. |

There's similar crime on a massive scale going on by the tax administrators at federal and state level. I've earlier reported it. See https://www.nairaland.com/8493576/nigerian-tax-authorities-sabotaging-presidents |

Who are these nuns even emulating? Is it Mary that went on to have other kids after having Jesus? The sordid truth about this nun thing is that it dates back to ancient Greco-Roman religions that had temple prostitutes There's no commandment in the bible that says a woman or a man should be celibate . This is all from a convert Jewish fanatic known as Paul who out of his own volition decided not to marry. Good for him. But the converted gentiles in the Roman empire wanted to keep some of their old religious customs and decided to create nuns to continue the old ways of having a temple prostitute to Venus. All this rubbish is only found in the western church in Rome. The original church that was founded in the eastern empire by Constantinople never had any of this strange and weird pagan rites that the catholic church is known for. This is what led to the split of the church between the Eastern and western orthodox and you can see how conservative, doctrinal and non perversed the Eastern orthodxy is when compared to the abomination known as the western catholic church |

My alma mater. These kind of rackets have been happening Should be 2009 when a reverend sister cleaned out Mayfresh Savings and loan Okija and disappear with the loot. Instead of Fr. Edeh to go after her, he chose to gather students and have them swear one after the other that they were not complicit in the heist. I have always wondered who owned all the numerous properties, investments and businesses run by Fr. Edeh seeing that he is a Catholic priest and as such can own much "mundane" things. Some rumoured that he must have a child somewhere. It's clear now that some of them are in his family are name. Mama Omeogo is his mother. |

Let me help you guys out here. Fr. EDEH opened a bank and added his siblings and as shareholders because he trusted them. Remember, those were his days of humble beginning and he felt blood could be trust. Now, the organization has grown and the people once trust has received very good advice from lawyers and other learned colleagues that as share holders that they have a say in the running of the bank, forgetting that they were added as shareholders to add structure to the business in the first place. Moral story of this development, as an up coming entrepreneur, while I understand limitations associated with 100% whole owned business by a single entity (if you don't understand please read up about keyman and associated risk). Some banks won't touch you with a pole, if business has this keyman risk and one the best way to cover this risk from the banks is by ensuring the business is owned by as much shareholders as possible and there are more than one promoter and directors for the business. I believe that what the founder of Mayfresh tried to achieve this, but the the people he brought in has gotten greedy. If you ask these share holders to provide proof of their contributions or subscriptions, I am very sure they can't. So as a upcoming entrepreneur, be careful who you but as a director, shareholder as well as the type of shares and voting rights you assigned to them. Sometime, the people might be good people, but what happens if they are no more and their next of kins comes tomorrow to claim part ownership of a business that their parents never owned, but was added to the CAC document as.a dummy/sleeping shareholder or directors Trust me the VC, bank manager and sisters are not the bad guys here.. If there must be bad guys, not while Father Edeh is still alive. |

To be candid, i am not surprised that Rev sisters are the prime suspect cos they are humans. The high time we relate with clergy men and women in a business like manner free of religious sentiment, the safer we fall victim to their criminal act. ![]() |
