The deal was really no different from one Israel had rejected for months. Netanyahu wasn't ready to negotiate with Hamas and wanted the unconditional release of the hostages. It wanted to achieve this through military might.

Even the Australian Government is not comfortable with the horrors being witnessed in Gaza. Expect different reactions to the genocide unfolding in Gaza. The U.K. Government, just like the notorious U.S. Government, has chosen to be complicit.

Herd mentality is the new disease that ails this generation. Even if he is an Israeli does it mean the whole of Israel are in support of the war? People are incapable of deep thought these days. They just follow the herd.

My sentiments exactly.. this herd mentality thing is so ludicrous..I wonder if they even know at all that as much as a million Israelis came out over the weekend to protest the continuing war and and the decision by the Israeli war cabinet to occupy Central Gaza and urging the government to take the deal with Hamas so as to end the war and bring the hostages and soldiers back safely.

Infact do they even know that most of the victims of the Hamas genocide of that fateful day were those Israelis who believed in peace with the Palestinians and who helped in getting them medical care and jobs in Israel.
