None of them can be compared to Shell or Shevron, and there are some places that have better opportunities of getting money than all this places but there salary is not even half of this places you mentioned

Nigeria go whine you sha. REA that did not actually advertise openly stating they are on-boarding 70 new staff. After multiple exams and multiple interviews. Good thing I recognized some faces on that their post. So...

NUPRC that has never really advertised having people resume this month . (Good to see someone has discovered how I know when these agencies recruit -LinkedIn!)

When you check LinkedIn, you'd observe some coded updates on people's profiles, yet these agencies never make noise about hiring.

I hope some of you still have faith in things being done the right way in this country. At this point, we are taking advantage of the system we have been given. Do what you can.

REA actually asked people to submit cv, and many people that submitted were called. It was 95 percent merit.

REA wey we drop CV before we start and finish masters degree (even before current MD). I actually did the two tests and met with the MD at REA. They only asked for CVs because people started submitting their CVs when the news got out. It was not something that was planned. As to the merit talk.

I met someone at second interview who did not partake in any tests or interview before that day, who did not even know what REA's vision/mission is, but was asked to show up for second interview with MD. Let's leave merit talk. Most persons at first/second interview were candidates of connects.

Yes they had a thorough process, but most persons were through connects, if not all.





TO ADD.

The first test was for everyone who submitted CV (that was just a distraction to make you feel like it was merit based), by second test we saw what they did. By interview we don know ourself finish. By second interview with MD...it was just a matter of who push pass.

I saw someone on Twitter bitterly complaining about the 1-on-1 with the MD and how he told the MD e no get connect that he needs help and the MD assured him, only for nothing till today. It was sad

Yeah, he was giving assurances during interview (@ MD).

But went on to do what he wanted or was told to do, we can't tell.


I wish the new recruits well, it was unfortunate that they had to waste the time of a lot of people.
