Anambra Gov’t Sacks ‘Agunaechemba’ Operatives For Assaulting Female NYSC MemberIts now they remember the need for training. This is the problem with this Soludo administration and his predecessors. They dont think properly before taking action. The chief concerns for security in the state which all those NPF officers are not delivering on are the following: - CULTISM - DRUG TRAFFICKING - ARMS PROLIFERATION - KIDNAPPING Assembling a bunch of thugs is not security. What the state needs is an INTELLIGENCE OUTFIT and SPECIALIZED COUNTER STRIKE FORCE. It should be an embarassment to Soludo that judges, lawyers, politicians, doctors, lecturers even US Embassy Convoy have been victim of the state's spiraling insecurity. But he behaves as if nothing is wrong when something is very very wrong. The state should go get assistance from the Israelis or the Russians. Identifying and eliminating crime gangs in Anambra takes intelligence work not thugs running around with AK-47s. |

Unbiased1:Enugu currently most indebted state in Southeast and currently ranked low in Sustainability index and you think borrowing to buy planes which is highly competitive will pay the humongous debt and you are comparing him to Soludo that's constructing many projects without borrowing instead paying off past debt and Anambra currently ranked 3rd in Sustainability index after Rivers and Lagos state, serious you guys reasoning is mind blowing

Bestmanfornow:I was not comparing anyone, I only responded to the guy who claimed that Enugu Air will fail. That was an ill-thought-out statement devoid of facts. Like I said before, Enugu Air records at least 1 flight everyday to and from Lagos. We haven't even started talking about their Abuja flights. In comparison to Soludo/Anambra, Enugu Air will generate far more income than the Fun Center soludo built in Awka. |

Jcoleworld911:Do you know how many people have called out Soludo? Did Soludo not promise to end insecurity in Anambra? He has spent almost 4 years in office and Anambra has become the most insecure state in Southern Nigeria. Even the vigilante group (Agunechemba) he introduced has become a criminal organisation. The man talks too much and has little action. In 2 years, Mbah can showcase as much completed projects as Soludo in almost 4 years. Look at the ICC Awka, still devoid of proper landscaping after more than 4 years since it was completed. Now look at the ICC Enugu after less than 1 year of renovation, it has proper landscaping, it has hosted 3 top events that drew Nigerians from all over country including Nigeria's largest tech summit. Can we kindly compare the ICC hotel in Awka to the ongoing ICC hotel in Enugu? That of Enugu radiates class and sophistication. Look up the images yourself. Look at the 5 bus terminals that were completed this month across Enugu. I'm sure they will complete their landscaping before that of the ICC Awka. Does Anambra have any comparable terminal to manage vehicular traffic when picking and dropping off passengers and loads? No. Look at tax collection. Commercial motorists pay their taxes with their tax cards in Enugu. People take their cards to a POS agent to pay their taxes. To confirm if a person has paid his/her tax, the tax collector simply taps your card on a machine to check if you have paid your tax for that day. This was something Soludo said he was going to introduce in Anambra when he was contesting. 4 years down the line, and Anambra is still selling tickets the old-fashioned way where money can be siphoned by the tax collector. We are patiently waiting for 2024 IGR report. This is when I will really come for that talkative of a Governor called Soludo. If Enugu state truly generated over 100 billion in 2024, then Soludo is a complete disgrace to himself because 4 years down the line, Anambra is still hovering at 33 billion despite its economy being under the able hands of a so-called Economist and PhD holder. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by abuzz33: 2:48pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:Businesspeople have more sense than so called professors whose careers are about theorizing. Mbah is far more practical than Soludo. His first priority was water and transport. Soludos first priority was Government House and an Amusement Park. Mbah brought in experts to fix their tax system. Soludo handed over the Anambra tax system to Agberos. Contrast holy ghost bus terminal to Solution bus Park at Arroma to see the massive difference in vision and planning. Anambra the center of road transport cannot point to a single worthwhile bus or truck terminal. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 4:21pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
abuzz33:Exactly. These guys hyping Soludo here have really poor taste and standards. Take the aerial photographs of Awka ICC and show it to a person who doesn't know about the project, then ask the people to tell you what he/she thinks is in the image. I'm sure the person will say it's a Factory or Warehouse due to how ugly and old-fashioned the building looks coupled with it's environment still filled with red clay after more than 4 years since it was completed. Enugu state government, in just 2 years, has completed the ICC, the presidential hotel, renovated the Nike Lake resort incorporation with Landmark, has gone past 50% completion of the ICC Hotel, is fast completing the over 300-bed international hospital, multiple primary healthcare centers and smart schools, etc all in 2 years. The technical college recently renovated by the government in Enugu to a smart technical college was a piece of art that was trending on X for some days. These ones are here celebrating a talkative doing village projects everywhere. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 4:29pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:Let's be honest. Soludo has his short comings but overall he has performed very well better that the overhyped Mba and Otti. This is coming from a person who dislikes Soludo's politics. The ICC in Anambra is 3 times larger than your ICC and its still a work in progress. The whole area will be developed and a luxurious hotel plus other facilities built. There is a bigger plan. People like you who use mediocre Mba to compare Soludo are obviously ignorant. Very ignorant! |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 4:35pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
MKPUOGALIGA:If you say he has performed better than Otti, then you are factually correct, but to say he has performed better than Mbah is self deceit. Mbah has his shortcomings, for example, he hasn't solved the water crisis in Enugu despite promising to fix that in 180 days, but based on the number of projects completed, the speed at which the projects were completed, the number of ongoing projects and their current level of completion, oga Mbah destroys Soludo. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 4:43pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
MKPUOGALIGA:ICC in Anambra is 3 times larger but the smaller ICC in Enugu hosted the largest tech summit in Nigeria's history, a summit larger than what has ever taken place in Lagos and Abuja. What of the massive meeting of legal practitioners that took place in Enugu? That small ICC has proven to be better than the larger ICC Awka. The stupid bigger plan is taking ages to accomplish. Have you seen the ICC hotel in Enugu? Have you seen the level of work there? Compare ICC hotel Enugu to ICC hotel Awka and see how flawed your argument is. You guys should start telling Soludo the truth. This nonsense he doing, claiming that he has not borrowed bla bla bla is no longer cutting it for me. The guy should start showing workings and talking less and I mean workings that have class not all those village and warehouse looking projects like the Awka ICC. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 4:47pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
I never even mention the BRT transport system that just started functioning in Enugu, the new tractors that have started working on over 30,000 hectares of farmland in Enugu etc. The tractor company is also setting up its assembly plant in Enugu for faster production if its tractors locally. Oga abeg stop comparing Mbah to talkative Soludo. Mbah is far more visionary. Do you want to compare the security situation room built in Enugu to the one that is nonexistent in Anambra? How many CCTV cameras are functioning in Anambra's main city centers? Anambra that records 5 times more crime cases than any other states in the South East and you have the audacity to praise Soludo. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Chikeluba25(m): 5:50pm On Aug 20, 2025*. Modified: 11:49pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:Keep deceiving yourself. Keep hiding and glorifying the downs of ur state government because he is in a race with Soludo which Soludo himself is not aware of. Just like the newly constructed road in Otti's Abia that fail. Nobody posted it. Anambrarians saw it but decided to overlook it since giving it publicity will not in any way make Anambra greater. Then u all celebrated it secretly, even gave it a baptismal name "Natural disaster". Recall that this is not the first neither is it the 2nd time. Now you are comparing a technocrat who is doing much with less with men who has achieved literally nothing with massive borrowed fund. One thing is sure... U will wakeup one day and realize that u have hyped yourselves/state to dum just because u are trying to measure up with Anambra that is far ahead of you. That is why Anambra will remain the most developed state in southeast. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:04pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Chikeluba25:You have to understand that these your fellow Igbos are vehemently jealous of Anambra. They actually want our downfall. You see them criticizing every project Soludo commissioned. The dangerous part is that Ndi Anambra still think its all love for Ndigbo. Whenever we celebrate Anambra they want you to make it an Igbo affair and omit Anambra. But when they achieve success they jubilate to high heavens. These people dont like us and Ndi Anambra must get this now. Go online and see the gate from Ebonyi people whom we singlehandedly made a lot of them rich from abject poverty. Ndi Anambra need to pass a law that will seed all lands to the community and government. We better open our eyes and protect our common wealth. These people dont mean well to us. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:08pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:Enugu people are dying of typhoid fever but you are busy here looking for fault in whatever Soludo does. Mba is not a match for Soludo....its disrespectful to compare them. We dont even talk enough about what Soludo has achieved. For instance, the investment in education, healthcare, the fiscal responsibility etc. Let Mba solve the water problem before you can talk |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:14pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:You are celebrating events hosted at your little ICC , meanwhile Anambra is the least indebted state , best Healthcare facilities, best public schools system , newly built city (Ekwulobia) , with massive construction in all our major city. Oga, Anambra has a different headache from Enugu. Go and play with Abia and Cross River state. Our goals are at variance |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MKPUOGALIGA: 6:31pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
And would an Enugu person abandon their thread just to pitch here and pick on Soludo. Its obsession |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Jcoleworld911: 9:45pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Unbiased1:Everything about mba is propaganda Dude, stop defending failure What ndi Enugu needs most is ordinary drinking water, it’s a shame that two years down the line, Enugu couldn’t boast of ordinary water while Soludo has fixed water everywhere in Anambra especially at okpoko Dude, Soludo free education and free delivery in Anambra supersede everything that mba has done Let’s not talk about infrastructures cox Awka-Ekwulobia road and Agulu to Nnewi down to Okija is the biggest project carried by any southeast governor ICC and it’s environs will be landscape when they finished the ongoing Icc hotel Development is spread over in Anambra state unlike Enugu that mba is painting capital roads At least, you can see works ongoing at Ekwulobia, Agulu, Nnewi, Nnobi, Onitsha, Awka, Oba etc, list towns that are experiencing same in Enugu state Should we talk about the completed five new general hospital or the massive employment of teachers and health workers?? Dude, mba is beneath Soludo. No southeastern governor come close

These wawa people sef. You talking about ICC, please tell us how many decades that tiny Enugu auditorium was abandoned before it was eventually completed after the huge borrowing by your incompetent governor Mbah? Awka ICC is not just the biggest but also the most beautiful in SE, it was completed within the administration of Obiano and was put to use. You are talking trash about the landscaping as if you don’t know that the ICC hotel is ongoing at the same site. You can’t compare the nonsense tiny auditorium in Enugu to the ICC in Awka. You people are the ones that should start telling your incompetent Mbah the truth. He borrowed billions to finance purchase of refurbished old aeroplanes but you wawa people and your gullibility didn’t see anything wrong with it. All you wawa people do it to envy Anambra and wish we don’t build the right infrastructures so that you people can take advantage. But we keep failing you people by electing good leaders that keep putting the right infrastructures on ground. We saw how you people attacked Anambra international airport when it was under construction. You guys didn’t bother about Ebonyi having airport because you guys knows that it won’t make any difference. Anambra shall keep growing and developing as the most developed Igbo state. Unbiased1: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by SpaceTour: 11:36pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
Soludo has performed by far better than Mbah. Please tell us what Mbah has achieved aside incurring huge loan and buying refurbished airplanes and completing the abandoned hotel and auditorium abandoned by Chimaroke. You can never compare the few things Mbah did to what Soludo has done. Soludo has completed three arm zone, biggest fun city in Nigeria, multiple dual carriageways across Anambra and more. All these has been achieved without borrowing. You people should go and tell Mbah the truth. The guy is a failure Unbiased1: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by SpaceTour: 11:48pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
You can deceive yourself all you want but the truth is that what you guys called ICC is actually an auditorium. That auditorium ICC in Enugu is so ugly and looks old fashioned and tiny. Please invite you for a tour of Awka ICC, it is the biggest ICC in Nigeria. The design is such that it can simultaneously contain multiple events at once. It is so user friendly that it can serve as a banquet and as a conferencing. Please google modern ICC to get an idea. Google Abuja ICC, it is almost the same as Awka ICC, because that’s the standard for what an ICC should look like. Right now Enugu doesn’t have an ICC. What you guys got is a civic cent or at best an auditorium. Unbiased1: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by SpaceTour: 11:50pm On Aug 20, 2025 |
You are so correct. It is left for Anambra people to take note of this message you just passed. We need to spread this message everywhere for our people to have the awareness of what’s going on. MKPUOGALIGA: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 10:35am On Aug 21, 2025 |
Chikeluba25:This is my issue with some of you. You guys make vague statements devoid of facts. I was expecting you to mention what Soludo has achieved that is greater than what is currently obtainable in Enugu, but you mentioned none. You didn't even fact-check my points or make credible comparisons, just the usual "keep deceiving yourself" line that proofs nothing. Waste of argument. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 10:40am On Aug 21, 2025 |
MKPUOGALIGA:Lol. What a stupid emotional take. These arguments started when your own brother ignorantly concluded that Enugu Air will fail. What brought Enugu Air into Anambra forum? So when an Anambra person prays for the Airline of a sister state to fail, is that not the same thing you are accusing others of doing to Anambra? So you want to criticise the projects of other other States but don't want the mediocre projects of your talkative government in Anambra to be criticized? 4 years down, and Anambra's IGR is still the same. A technocrat governor that is using Areaboys to fight insecurity and collect tax Village people with their village vision. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 11:08am On Aug 21, 2025 |
MKPUOGALIGA:Now you are getting somewhere. I want to hear facts not the usual vague talk. 1) You mentioned people are dying of typhoid fever in Enugu. Kindly tell me the state in Nigeria where people don't die of typhoid fever, and while you are at it, kindly show me a report that states that there is a typhoid pandemic in Enugu that is worse than what is happening in other states in Nigeria. 2) You mentioned education. Just as Soludo introduced free education in Primary and Secondary schools in Anambra, same policy was introduced in Enugu, so no difference. In addition to the free education, the Enugu state government is constructing 260 new schools, 1 in each ward, in Enugu. Some of the schools have been completed and will be opening for studies this September. You can go and verify (in Peter Obi's voice). The largest technical college in Enugu has also been fully renovated with new structures and facilities which beats anything we have seen in Nigeria as a whole. Enugu has also employed 11,000 (out of a target of 15,000) new teachers who will teach in these new schools. In comparison, Soludo only employed 5000 new teachers. Go and verify. 3) You mentioned health. We all know that Enugu has not been too good in health which was the fault of previous administrations not the current Mbah administration. Within 2 years, the Mbah administration has started his project of constructing 260 new primary healthcare centers, 1 in each ward, across Enugu to bring healthcare access closer to the people. Some of these primary healthcare centers have been completed and others are currently under construction. While the 260 hospitals are type-2 primary healthcare centers, there are also 9 type-3 primary healthcare centers ongoing, 22 secondary healthcare centers plus an additional 300-bed international hospital at Rangers Avenue that is already 50% complete. 4) Water crisis. This is still a major issue as the Enugu state government has not resolved this, but in comparison, can you list out the neighborhoods in Anambra that currently receive pipe borne water from the government. Can you swear that you get pipe borne water in your house in Onitsha? The same Onitsha were residents living upstairs suffer to fetch water with buckets from a neighbour's private borehole to their homes upstairs. Just as Enugu lacks pipe borne water, so does Anambra also lack pipe borne water across various parts of the state. If Anambra distributes water to every city center, kindly counter what I've just written, but if not, kindly hide your face in shame for criticising another state for the same issue taking place in your state. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 11:15am On Aug 21, 2025 |
MKPUOGALIGA:Yes I will celebrate the events hosted in my little ICC. Why won't I celebrate when my little ICC hosted an event so large, not even Lagos and Abuja have been able to host something of such capacity before talk less of Anambra ![]() Lol @ best healthcare facilities. Show workings not too much talk. If not because this is the Anambra thread, I would have posted pictures of the real healthcare revolution talking place in Enugu. Newly built Ekwulobia Ekwulobia is a town and it is not newly built. One flyover does not transform a town into a city. In 3 years, Dave Umahi completed about 3 flyovers in Ebonyi, within the same time frame, Obiano completed 3 flyovers in Anambra. Soludo has spent 4 years on 1 flyover in Ekwulobia ![]() |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Unbiased1: 11:23am On Aug 21, 2025 |
Jcoleworld911:Now you are responding with facts not the usual vague response like that Chikeluba25 guy. Chikeluba25, come here and learn how to respond to arguments with facts not vague emotions. For your claims, I will contact someone to verify your claim of water in every part of Anambra. Your excuse for the lack of landscaping at the ICC is invalid. The ICC in Enugu has good landscaping and its hotel is also ongoing at the same time within the premises. I also need to verify your claim of 5 new general hospitals. I know Soludo was constructing 5 general hospitals but I will verify if they have been completed like you claimed and also see what these hospitals look like, if there look like modern hospitals or the usual Anambra village kind of infrastructure that looks like a warehouse. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by SpaceTour: 11:51am On Aug 21, 2025 |
Stop embarrassing yourself here. What has Mbah achieved compare to massive development Soludo has brought to Anambra. I can only mention the local bus terminals, refurbished aeroplanes, completed abandoned auditorium in Enugu, what else has Mbah done? We are not even talking about the massive debt he had incurred? Please watch, this is just one segment of what Soludo has achieved in Anambra. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19cjkQJVfx/?mibextid=wwXIfr Unbiased1:This is a transformation with infrastructures not noise and propaganda Enugu is known for
