Oriyomi Hamzat: Agidigbo Apologises To Naira Marley, Lifts Ban On His Songs by nairalandkachy1(op): 6:57pm On Aug 20, 2025
The founder of Agidigbo 88.7 FM, Oriyomi Hamzat, has publicly apologised to Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and announced the lifting of the ban on Marlian Records’ songs on his Ibadan-based radio station.

Hamzat made the announcement on Tuesday during a live broadcast, nearly two years after the station blacklisted Marley’s music following the death of former Marlian Records artiste, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in September 2023.

Following Mohbad’s passing, widespread allegations against Marley led to the blackout of Marlian tracks on Agidigbo FM from 2024. However, Hamzat said recent findings surrounding the case showed that his earlier stance was misguided.

“I sincerely apologise for the harsh statements I made against Naira Marley. With immediate effect, the ban on his songs at Agidigbo FM is lifted,” Hamzat declared, before instructing that Marley’s hit track Tesumole be played on air.

What this social media will cause at last ehnnn.

So some group of people can control the narrative and form any story for people to believe.. this is so awesome. Some people still don't believe that it wasn't Naira Marley that killed mo bad.

Naira Marley was cancelled for nothing.

Most Nigerians are very emotional.

We are always quick to join the bandwagon.

This reminds me of 2022 when I was calling myself an Obidient.

I was moved by the social media frenzy. I still feel like a fool looking back now. Chaiii

Naira maly kept quiet...

For too long.

Most people judged based on emotions though.

The easiest thing to do is accuse and point fingers at people!

We are happy for Naira Marley. Free at last. Nigerians are too sentimental and lack emotional intelligence.
They blamed Marley for what he had no idea of. They canceled him, protested because they are so jobless.
Thank God Marley has been vindicated, shame on Iyabo ojo, Tonto and all those that wanted to use that to get attention
