The man's lifeless body was found dangling from the transformer at N0. 40 Omuma Road in the early hours of Tuesday, August 19, 2025

According to eyewitnesses, the deceased had climbed the transformer in the night to steal high-tension electricity cables but was electrocuted in the process.


The shocking incident drew the attention of passersby and residents who gathered at the scene.

That was how our transformer was vandalised last month at Lugbe Abuja. We had to contribute money to replace what they stole.
