Which yeye message from a failure messenger? We won't allow the lying machine to lie his way into the Aso Rock.

franugo:
Why are you like this? Why not talk about the message instead of attacking the messenger?

Coming from a Governor who was caught with 250 million naira in the booth of his car. This is nothing but hypocrisy and projection.
I read comments like yours and conclude Nigerians have not suffered enough. When y'all experience better suffering, y'all would know the right thing to do.
Re: Prioritising Leaders' Greed Over Basic Welfare - Peter Obi by madridguy(m): 9:05am On Aug 21, 2025
No any school will make a failure their headboy or head prefect. Obi failed in a small Anambra State with a population less than 5 million and you expect such a failure to handle Nigeria with a population over 100 million...

Jahwinaboy:
So the Tinubu that did 100% in Lagos can't solve Nigerian's problems rather than increase it? People like you are major problem we have in this country. You hate someone to the point u don't believe something good will ever come out of the person. If someone fails in a class in Jss1, would u conclude he is a failure for life? Some didn't do well in Nigerian Universities but got 1st class in Europe. Rethink

His message is not only a lie, but as dangerous as anything. He want to deceive Nigerians same way he deceived the people of Anambra State years ago.

ProsperoPips:
No politicians can be trusted, fact.

But always address the message, not the messenger.

Was the message right or wrong, that's what we should be asking ourselves

So you support the 100% increase in the salaries of political office holders while some states can't even pay the minimum wage to helpers and cleaners?
Most of you waiting for crumbs from these politicians will never see anything wrong with this!

We need Obi to be daily pressing their neck for them to wake up.

APC and co did more than this when they were in opposition
Unfortunately, Obi sounds very hollow accusing others of his own failures in government.

He will obviously be worse than APC looters.

[quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.

How is ebilokan not worse in all aspects of governance than Obi?

Did ebilokan not fail to deliver government services and provide public utilities that matches the huge IGR of the masses, which increased Lagos budget to N3.4 trillion from the amount of N42 billion a quarter of a century ago?

Why do you support ebilokan handling our country despite his failure in Lagos State huh

No I don't support such move but Obi is not qualified to advise and criticize others because he was worse when he was Governor.
His trying to be saintly is hypocritical going by his records while in office.

Kid if you don't know Obi's real history, go and use Google or ask your elders.
OBI'S driver was caught in Lagos with 250 million naira in his booth. He confessed that the money belongs to Obi who was Governor at that time.
Obi flew to Lagos to bail out the driver and to collect the money. He claimed that the money was to pay contractor in Lagos which everyone knew was a big fat lie.
He was investigated by the Anambra house of Assembly.
Go and use Google to read the rest of the story yourself. I have educated you enough this morning. Cheers

An average Americans don't need to visit Africa to know what we are facing. Atleast they watch TV and see how Africans goes to church/mosque to do thanksgiving for having their visa or green card and also see the way many cry over deportation.

Back home here, I see how Chindinma and Chudwudi also triggered anytime they asked them to go back to their region. Many Ikechukwu and Amaka have started naming their child Omolayo, Temitope just to claim Yoruba. I hope you get my message clearly.

But Tinubu PASSED in large Lagos of 8 million or more and can't handle a larger population. Who do you think has a better chance of improving especially when one(Tinubu) is not open to dialogue or reasoning while the other does?

Giringory has no reason whatsoever to be preaching and advocating for better pay for public servants as he never gave a damn about the plight and working conditions of civil servants when he was governor.

It is the height of stinking hypocrisy for someone who was the first to adopt the ''No work, No Pay '' approach to force striking Anambra medical and teaching staff to return to work.

Someone that pruned the state civil service by sacking outrightly any non indigene employed in the state civil service all in a bid to ''cut waste''.

You people think we are stupid abi?

Most times in this country,we live the root and cut off the leaves.
It doesn't matter where the advice come from, why not take it and digest but here in Nigeria,we like to play too much.

Is that how u judge people then somebody like ur emilokan could have been the president of this country.
Reason is that when Jonathan was the president of the he blamed Jonathan for almost everything he organized protest but today has he been able to reduce fuel pump prize? Stabilized the naira or reduced the cost of the living.

U all claim that emilokan made Lagos to be heaven on earth that he will make Nigeria to be the same thing and he advised u all to kick Jonathan out and he succeed to achieve his aim.
What is the situation now? Do u think he fit to still rule as the president of this country?

There are about 200m people in Nigeria and u are not the mouthpiece of all this people.

Taking Obi advice is a choice just like u taking Tinubu advice.
