Image123:It's not by force na?. It's not on the list of our official engagement. The President's spokesman listed the official activities to expect and trade expo wasn't considered a top priority. We're engaging people that matter to us over there, simple. |

so shameful for Nigeria. See, Nigeria just reminds you of that irresponsible father or mother one may have had as a child while growing up. On open day, other children's parents show up and make it colorful for them but your mama and papa fit no even remember. Then no send you or even turn up. Every other important event that requires their presence, you fit no see them but for the other kids, their mummy and Daddy show up for them with plenty goodies |

zero8zero:Zombies sef Oya how many countries went for the trade expo and how many did not? Can you give us the number? You guys will just be allowing your ogas to open your head and feed you lies and you'll come here repeating it Why was Nigeria given a booth if we didn't request for it or do you think Japan are like your incompetent people in Govt who will provide a booth and won't inform you before hand of it's availability? Haba!! How can someone choose to sound stupid in a bid to defend incompetence |

zero8zero:Oya this is the program lineup from the TICAD9 website. You can see the booth display there and it is written that "application period has ended" which shows that countries that got booths applied for it. So can you explain how Nigeria got a booth when we didn't want it? Zombies sha

LagosOrigin:You are all making a mountain out of a mole hill. If Nigeria had a beautiful stand with people and everything, folks like you will still criticize it as waste of money while everyone in your village is now dead due to hunger. This is a non issue being blown out of proportion. It is ridiculous. |

The empty booth shows how empty Nigerian leaders' brain are. So pathetic. |

Similar thing happened 2 years ago when i approved our participation at NOG Abuja. Only to find out our stand was empty for the first 2 days. It was people from other companies that sent me the pictures. Later found out the 3 dudes we sent there were busy carrying big big yansh in Abuja and forgot why they were in Abuja in the first place. They were let go weeks later. This event in Japan just shows how unserious Nigeria is. Big shame ![]() |

Nigerian officials were in hotels with their imported ............ ![]() Government officials would go to conferences but hardly participate in sessions. They would be holed up in their hotels, snapping pictures in city's monuments and visiting parks, forgetting the main reason why they went there in the first place. This is very much applicable to government agencies and civil servants |

How difficult is it to get into your heads ? I doubt if you know the calibre of people on this NL forum and the "high level" dimensioning reasonable, intelligent and progressive people ponder-on before making a comment on National Issues like this. There are digital footprints and some of us will make our points clearly irrespective of whose ox is gored. This particular TICAD9 summit they attended will not yeild anything ! What you will hear will be "Promissary Notes" as usual ! And for you jumping from one topic to another grouping people to make a comment, Get a proper gig @zero8zero. And in fact structure your living outside e-Data boyhood. zero8zero: |

Kukutente23:It beggars belief. Aside from knowing that these ones are paid, one has to reflect on the quality of people they pay to do this work for them. I am sure there are bright young people out there that could make posts that would at least seem intellectual or remotely sensible. Rather what we see is a bunch of ill-schooled teenagers who pretty much say nothing more than "and so what" as their argument all the time. |

zero8zero:Please, just cut the crap and take a good listen. I've been noticing some off-progress comments and you're one of the pioneers. Can't you kill several birds with a stone? What's so hard in displaying a TV there and a video showing the infrastructural plans of Nigeria, trade and tourism, technology and innovation or whatever it is they plan to discuss with others. Make the video a loop and have it on the TV. Put a few other stuff there and just two or three people to engage visitors and explain the video. Why is there a stand for Nigeria there and people just come by and it's empty? How much will it cost them? Do you have an idea of how people across the world really want to get to know more about Nigeria? If Nigeria were at that booth, Nigeria would welcome some foreigners days, weeks or months after that event solely because of that encounter. It's also a good PR for the nation. I can suggest more stuff if you and those you're defending will refuse to think and do some little things that matters but, I rather not spend time on that with you here. Please, stop this non-sense. If you want to respond to me with something not in-line with what I've suggested above, don't bother. |
