Chai.

When was it manned.

Boxer, you will not notice that it hadn't even been fitted as others had been, not to talk about manned.

Chai. I am sorry for you.
Read my post again Squealer.

It's not by force na?. It's not on the list of our official engagement. The President's spokesman listed the official activities to expect and trade expo wasn't considered a top priority. We're engaging people that matter to us over there, simple.
It should be manned bro, that's the normal thing in such engagements. i agree that it's not one of the most important things we're there for but it's very necessary. Thankfully it was later done.

are you saying that the people responsible for the booth were not patriotic and that if the man had not called them out the story will be the same?
Maybe.

The Op was showing the colourful decorations of each country's booth. Ate you referring to the hurriedly done thing by the guy who wanted to save our govt's face as worthy of Nigeria?
At least he showed Nigeria, or no? Art teacher.

The world should take the status of giant of Africa from Nigeria. That name has deceived us a lot because it makes us feel that we have arrived.

Nigeria is not there for trade expo, how difficult it is for you to get that into your heads?.

We're there engaging diplomats, entrepreneurs, Investors, international financiers, Govt -to-Govt discussion, in series of conferences.

If you're interested, carry your phone charger, fufu, otapiapia and gala to the booth and exhibit them on behalf of Nigeria 🤣
😂😂😂 I don't know what is difficult in that. They're making noise over a less relevant things, while government officials are busy engaging on high level talk with investors and diplomats.

Nigerian voters has placed them where they rightly belonged to the last weekend by-election, they have discovered these people have nothing to offer Nigeria than making noise on internet.

And you have no right to attempt to pretend you have read Animal Farm.

Otherwise you would use the character "Squealer" in the right context.

Don't embarrass yourself by trying to reach beyond your knowledge.

The least that can be done is to get someone from the embassy in Japan to put the place in order. Even that is too difficult for this government to do. 9ja which way?
And what do you think someone from the Embassy can tell investors when they visit the booth??

How difficult is it to get into your heads ?

I doubt if you know the calibre of people on this NL forum and the "high level" dimensioning reasonable, intelligent and progressive people ponder-on before making a comment on National Issues like this.

There are digital footprints and some of us will make our points clearly irrespective of whose ox is gored.

This particular TICAD9 summit they attended will not yeild anything !

What you will hear will be "Promissary Notes" as usual !

And for you jumping from one topic to another grouping people to make a comment, Get a proper gig @zero8zero. And in fact structure your living outside e-Data boyhood.
You even think any sensible person will expect anything different from bitter people, dey play

Report actually said that the Nigeria booth is unmanned.

I just don't understand the defense of the Foreign Affairs on why the booth is unmanned. Is it that we didn't attend or we did.

Please, just cut the crap and take a good listen. I've been noticing some off-progress comments and you're one of the pioneers.
Can't you kill several birds with a stone? What's so hard in displaying a TV there and a video showing the infrastructural plans of Nigeria, trade and tourism, technology and innovation or whatever it is they plan to discuss with others. Make the video a loop and have it on the TV.

Put a few other stuff there and just two or three people to engage visitors and explain the video. Why is there a stand for Nigeria there and people just come by and it's empty? How much will it cost them?
Do you have an idea of how people across the world really want to get to know more about Nigeria? If Nigeria were at that booth, Nigeria would welcomed some foreigners days, weeks or months after that event solely because of that encounter. I can suggest more stuff if you and those you're defending will refuse to think and do some little things that matters but I rather not spend time on that with you here.

Please, stop this non-sense. If you want to response to me with something not in-line with what I've suggested above, don't bother.
My friend, Mechionu dia, every international occasion has its own purpose, Nigeria participates in annual international cultural expo. We are here for economic and bilateral discussion, not for trade expo. Nigeria is not the only country with empty booth, everyone went there for different purpose.

It is worse than that. It is an International disgrace. Such a shameful and reckless jamboree. By now Onanuga and Rhino are wondering how to open their mouth waa to defend this and how to link Obi to this indefensible failure.

If you read it again, you would not be asking "When was it manned". Congratulations on reading Animal farm achievement. i actually read it decades ago and didn't remember vivid details. How it's so central in your life is amusing. It's read in primary school, which one is beyond knowledge there? What is beyond knowledge of persin wey dey read Bible? Lolz.

Can you tell me what Animal Farm was a parody about, without using Google?

I am sure you can't.

It was about Soviet Russia.

It's not a children's book.

It's a very deep political satire only written in the form of a beast fairy tale.

It addresses some of the deepest dystopian problems of society till today.

To be fair, you could have put pictures of the manned Nigerian booth too. The fellow that called them out manned it patriotically yesterday and was there to show solidarity today.
That man had to do the needful when the place remained completely vacant. He complained bitterly. He wasn't on the team from Nigeria. Besides, it's not only about it being manned, the booth is completely bare unlike the others. We are not a serious minded country, jare

Sudan that's in the middle of a civil war has an occupied stand. What's wrong with us as a people.
Just imagine an investor we're trying to court comes around and sees an empty booth. We should tell him, Na booth we go chop "
