No Lagbaja. The list is definitely compiled by Gen Zs. There are couple of songs that have no business being on the list. For example: What is Eminado doing on the list. Kele Kele Love is even a bigger song. So is MY Darling. Peace unto by Asake is on the list. Can you imagine. What is Monalisa by LoJay doing on the list. I can go on and on. This list is mostly trash. Ofcourse they got some things right like African Queen being number one and including Olufunmi by Styl Plus on the list.

Naah, it isn't worth it at all. Style plus's "Olufunmi" or "run away" is more deserving of that spot even, P,square's "Temptation."

Unfortunately till today, most afrobeat songs lack quality lyrics. Many of those artists can't go far in their career because they can only sing about "baby", "party" and "money", nothing else.

that's why I rate Johnny Drille and Omah Lay really high.

2 face first and second albums will always remain evergreen and unsurpassed as far as Nigeria music industry is concerned.

As in.... Even the Father of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti, didn't even have any entry in the genre he created. Make it make sense i feel they just picked African Queen as number 1 and then randomly picked 49 Naija songs to complete the list.
