In the 2000s-2015, Nairaland was the bedrock of Nigeria youths. It was the place a new graduate go to, to find answers to his/her purpose or path in life.

I remember we use to visit business thread investment thread, Travelling and job threads to read, practice and earn money through either trading stocks, treasury bills, bonds, writing research papers, solving a problem and getting paid, writing fictional stories and so on.

It was the knowledge I got here that I used to purchase my first Btc in 2013, forgot the password to wallet and later saw where I wrote it down in 2019.

Nowadays, in almost all the threads, someone is trying to defraud someone. People are being defrauded here. No knowledge shared. Those who share are monetizing it. Insults and curses flying here and there in this place.

Nevertheless, we can change this narrative by changing our mindset positively. Looking forward to helping each other without the aim of defrauding each other.

Sharing ways to make money, dropping hints and points to make money legitimately. There is a lot of much to be made online and Nairaland is one the best place to get to the money.

Godwilling, I’ll create time to share my knowledge henceforth because I received a lot from Nairaland in those days.

Good morning everyone.
I discovered today that the trading of stocks feature have been added to the Cowrywise app.
I'd appreciate anyone that can help me with the stocks I can buy as a newbie. I'm not after excessive profit as I just want a way for my little savings to appreciate rather than just sitting idly in my account.

NB: I am a young guy currently undergoing apprenticeship so I'm not really buoyant. Let's just say I have about 20k for a start.

Good thing you want to put yourself in the map by investing in stocks.

20,000 Naira is good to start and for any stock I’m going to recommend for you, always use 5% of funds to invest in it.

Look at the stock of heirs holding; Uba, transcorp, then zenith bank.

basically the bull run is following this. Basically the large cap coins with good fundamentals are going parabolic eg BNB. Taking profits from altcoins is what I’m good at and I don’t know if sharing such with you guys will be a problem?
