The instruction was to switch off the phone not to put it on airplane mode. That's the standard and the rule in Nigerian aviation industry. Most of you are ignorant of the fact that it's even an offence to disobey an instruction to switch off your phone when you are in an aeroplane according to Nigeria's aviation law.

The hostess was not being 'overzealous' as you ignorantly claim. She was doing her job and she needed to be firm and uncompromising as it was obvious the unruly passenger was not ready to obey the simple instruction.

Your claim that the passenger did not know how to switch off her phone is rather lame I don't want to believe you actually believe such nonsense.

By the way, Comfort whatever they call her, was stopped from leaving the plane because she physically assaulted the airline official who was just doing her job. She needed to be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

The earlier we stop supporting nonsense and lawlessness the better for the country.

Which stupid rule? Better go and look at aviation rules and stop living in stone age like Buhari. It's not necessary to switch off your phone on a plane. Also the airplane mode is enough you don't have to switch off your phone.

If you've read the eye witness account yet you see nothing wrong in what she did and even physically blocking a passenger from disembarking then I have nothing to say to you. Carry your wahala shift abeg.
