Have you ever noticed that the women that to drunkard, hardly divorce their husbands? What do think those wives always stick to them?

Good women.
Accept their fate.
Cannot easily convinced to leave husband.
They free to commit all sorts of nonsense.
Stay there because of their children.

There is nothing special about marriage. Nigerians should stop acting like it changes a human into something else.

The man was a drunk before marriage. People consider looks when marrying. Alcoholism doesn’t change someone’s beauty overnight. What you’ll see as a spouse is your choice struggling or being a victim of a vice. The choice was already made. Marriages don’t end in one night. It takes a process.

I think the answer is fear & anxiety. From what I have seen, most women who settle for drunks are too afraid to go it alone. Yes, they settle because they have had it drummed into their heads that they must have a man in their life. Even though somewhere in the back of their minds, they realize they are truly alone with such men, they convince themselves that it is at least OK that they have ticked the marriage box with even that one they have settled with. These women find it hard in such cases to take the step towards freedom because they are terrified of what awaits them on the other side.

You think so? But for me, I believe those women are there, in other to free to perpetrate all forms of immoralities, while in husband's house, because they themselves know that, it's only the type of husband, they married that can accept the kind of weird lifestyle they are indulging.
The little of such marriages I have seen, husbands do his own, wife also free to do her own, even to the knowledge of husbands.
