Releasing the hostages is not Israels problem. Infact they dont even care about it. They are asking for hostage release and hamas dropping their weapons. This will not haplen because essentially they are asking them to not just surrender bit tender themselves to be taken in. You think you can use gun to kill ideology? It will always be like this for years and yesrs to come until the root causes of what hamas came up in the first place is addressed.
