Sure. I was in the same position as you so I cannot really blame you. The true information online are very sketchy.

However, Emmanual Okechukwu was chairman for most of 2004 and not the 2001 that your AI allocated to Peter Obi.
So we don't know the window but the fact remains that Peter Obi was Chairman.

Boo Yah.

LOL... Be forcing AI to tell you lies. You thought I was one of the hoebidient crew you just tell fable to and they will runaway with it.

Just so you know, by 2006, they had another chairman named Christopher Ezeh, the one your AI prompt is forcing you to accept was a deputy CBN till 2009.

I told from the very beginning that the period was so short that even Google struggles to catch it.

So, so we do not loss track of how we got here, I was questioning Obi's source of income. The bragging that he was bank chairman does not hold because not only was the period very short, he could not have used amassed wealth in that time.

His so called billionaire claim before politics is therefore suspect.

Nextsupermarket failed.
Bank chairman around 18 months

To get to a bank chaitman at such age and own an international business as such young age does not show you that such a person had money? Also being a major shareholder in a bank like Fidelity Bank at such a young age. Come on. Be factual in your analysis.

At about 40 years, owning an international business (failed or not), keep in mind the business was running for years. Becoming a major shareholder of a bank, becoming the bank chairman. How does that not show the man had wealth before government.

Also, the Pandora files money was put in the shell company before he became Governor.

When small boys are sending their kids with less than 10 times such wealth.

Haba.

Does not change the point in any way. The point is clear, he was Chairman of Fidelity Bank. That is the point and you are actually not contradicting it

Which internation supermarket?

So people that own supermarket in cotonou can also claim international? Was it ever considered a big chain in the UK?

Until it folded up who had heard of the so called supermarket.

Now, I am impressed at his being chairman at that young age, do not get me wrong. But this hype about being a billionaire is what I contest.

The pandora happened within the time he was governor, even it that is not true, does it not worry you that a man who claims to love his country will seek to find ways (legal or not) of depriving his country of tax that would have aided its development?

I already told you that someone had already showed me proof in the past, I wanted you to find real proof on your own of him being chairman, you could not, it was still me who came to your aid.

Next International was not a Supermarket before. That was a diversification later. They were into importation and distribution of goods in wholesale and was on since the 90s.

Original international business.

I myself know most Tax in Nigeria is looted. I will not toil overseas, make money and bring it to Nigerian government to use it to build conference center.

Peter Obi has shared so much money he even deserves tax relief.

The Pandora account was opened before he became Governor.

So, importation is international business?

What was the revenue in those years?

What happened to it that it no longer competes or exist? Did Obi fail to manage it properly?

If he cannot manage a simple supermarket that even small girls are able to manage, how does he want to manage a whole nation?

Tax are used to fund Universities, hospitals and build roads, how can a good citizen particularly a presidential aspirant be hiding money.

As for pandora and hiding money, I tell you it was when he was governor.

We that know his thiefery laugh really hard when you guys try to make 'cent obi' out of him.

PANDORA PAPERS: Inside Peter Obi’s secret businesses — and how he broke the law
Peter Obi serially violated the law by failing to declare to the Code of Conduct Bureau the companies and assets he tucked away in secrecy havens.

Peter Obi, his daughter and a secret business
Mr Obi has two children- a daughter, Gabriella Nwamaka Frances Obi, and a son, Gregory Peter Oseloka Obi. Sometime in 2010, more than four years after he became governor, the politician developed an appetite to set up his first discreet company in the British Virgin Island. He named the company Gabriella Investments Limited, after his daughter

To set up what has now become a convoluted business structure, Mr Obi first approached Acces International, a secrecy enabler in Monaco, France, to help him incorporate an offshore entity in one of the world’s most notorious tax havens noted for providing conduits for wealthy and privileged corrupt political elites to hide stolen cash to avoid the attention of tax authorities.

Tax havens are politically and economically stable offshore jurisdictions or countries with extensive laws and systems that provide little or no tax obligations, but enable high secrecy and privacy protection for foreign individuals and businesses.

Mr Obi also paid Acces International to provide nominee directors for the company. Nominee directors are residents of tax havens paid to sit on boards of companies to hide the identities of real owners of offshore firms.

So, after accepting a brief from the then governor or his representatives, Acces International officials headed to the British Virgin Island, a notorious tax haven, where it contracted a local registered agent – Aleman Cordero Galindo & Lee Trust (BVI) Limited (Alcogal) — to set up Gabriella Investments Limited for Mr Obi.

The man may have been a regular importer, the same way you have them in various markets in Nigeria, he may have been a little rich from it, but billionaire, na lie.

We see importers here and there, na

It can't be when he was governor because it was about a code of conduct offense and not declaring it. So it can't be when he was governor. The account was opened before he became Governor.

Secondly, Peter Obi had global distribution right for Heinz and Ovaltine. That can't be Small Supermarket business.

Thirdly, if Taxes were properly utilized in Nigeria, health and educational institutions won't suffer from funding.

Finito.

Thank you. Sorry about that. I actually had a misconception of the point all along. The money was from before he was Governor and the account was opened while as Governor. Either way, it still shows that the man made lots of money long before he became Governor. And did not need to look out money to send his child overseas.

Abeg non make me laff.

That is committing sacrileged.

Obi should be ashamed of himself as a father.

Oga, if you want real importers, go to Alaba Internation market, go to Onitcha, yet none of them can claim to have the same kind of money Obi claims to have courtesy of being an ex governor.
So all these importer talk non follow.

In terms of bank chairman, nobody heard of or knew Obi. Ithose were the days of Oceanic bank Cecilllia Ibru, Intercontental bank, GTB, who knew Fedility or Obi at that time

You guys just hype the guy and then believe your hype.

Ovaltine made by Nestle is what you want to claim for Obi again.

So supermarkets that have different products in their store will also claim that those products make them billionaires?
AI Overview
The maker of Ovaltine depends on the region, but in the United States, Nestlé produces it. Internationally, Associated British Foods is a significant producer, manufacturing Ovaltine in countries such as Switzerland, China, Thailand, Nigeria, and Australia. In Canada, Grace Foods makes it, while a different entity, Twinings Ovaltine Nigeria Limited, operates in Nigeria.
