Anyone who knows how to read between the lines can tell from the original news article the intention of Japan, key phrases are, "blue collared jobs", "ageing population" and "declining agricultural land" and even going further to emphasize "unskilled" labour, take from that what you will, God bless Nigeria and God bless Japan ☹️. |

Japan is very homogeneous.. They hardly mix with foreigners. They just need workers for their industries. That is why they want to place all Nigerian immigrants in one city. You will learn when you get there. To get Japanese citizenship is very hard. I dont think they give citizenship to foreigners . |

damoobaba:Do some soul searching within urself and tell me if tunubu is worth the hype.Creating opportunities in diaspora while destroying the domestic home front with self destructive policies that bring hardship and poverty. As for ur ethnical rhetoric, I share in ur thought about the so called yeebos but truth be told Yorubas hv proven Tru tunubu govt and cabinets tht they r no way better in any aspect. |

AishaDant:Maybe you should first find out why Japan remains one of the most orderly, decent, organized and disciplined nation on earth. It is because they restrict activities of foreigners as tightly as possible. Even Americans and Europeans hardly settle well in Japan. It is a no-nonsense place. Japan is not really open to foreigners like most advanced countries. |

.For Nigerians from the south displaced through violence of Boko Haram and armed Fulani herdsmen who purposely refuse to accept that modern cattle rearing takes place in fenced farms. Today, there are more northern Nigerians in the south than ecer before. |

LagosOrigin:God bless Nigeria? God bless Nigeria for the people of northern Nigeria coming to displacie the southerners, take the proceeds from crude oil and gas deposits in the south to build the north, while Islamic extremists fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws take over Nigeria including the southern regions. The political and religious leaders in the 12 northern sharia states adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws. Instead of Northern Nigerians using Islamists to displace southern Nigerians from their homelands, Nigeria must be dissolved into more manageable countries |

All this people saying nigerians should not go there and commit crime, indirectly trying to gaslight igbos, should realise that a sizable number of igbos already live and do their business in that town. Please do some research. Many igbos have intermarried with Japanese women. Black igbo men are in high demand in Japan at the moment. There was a yoruba girl that was on tiktok saying her fellow yorubas bashing igbos are ignorant, because the positive recognition nigeria receives abroad is because of igbos |
