There's this subconscious aversion to disabilities inherent in almost all of us that makes us not look too closely, and that's where the fakers get us. We glance casually and turn the other way.

Some even make the so-called ailments disgusting to look at.

It makes it hard for even those who are really in need of help to truly find and get help. Not everyone has time to go investigating all these things.
