Famine has been declared in Gaza’s largest city, Gaza City.

According to the UN rights chief, famine in the Gaza Governorate is the direct result of Israeli actions. He warned that using starvation as a weapon is a war crime and that the resulting deaths could amount to “wilful killing.”

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) confirmed that famine — caused by Israel’s total blockade of aid into Palestine’s Gaza — is already under way in the city that shelters hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, warning it could soon engulf Deir al Balah and Khan Younis before next month is over.

Why can't Hamas accept peace and release the hostages they have in their custody. Hamas is really behind the killings and suffering of the people of Palestine.

What is hard to tell Hamas to release the hostages and end the war? Are u saying that the one that is beaten shouldn't cry? They all celebrated when Hamas hit Isreal on the 7th of October, and now they should be ready to contain the tears of the IDF. If the world really wants this war to stop, it's clear and simple, pressure Hamas to release the hostages and Isreal would have no justification any longer to continue the war. U can't kill the Isrealites and hold on to their people as hostages unprovoked,and still be crying as the victim!

UNWRA must go. Nothing the UN says is material at this point. UN cannot be allowed to perpetuate Israeli- Arab conflict forever and is using it as cash cow to dupe western countries into paying perpetual fees to keep the conflict going.

UNWRA was established to resettle Palestinian refugees but after 70 years with a budget more than its counterpart, no Palestinian has been settled.

Hamas is primarily to blame in all these. Why did they start a war they cannot finish? To worsen things, they are still holding Israeli hostages captive till now. Hamas is not ready for peace, I blame them for the starvation in Gaza. Hamas should provide food for starving Palestinians instead of waiting for Israel.
