Your IELTS score is locked after AOR. If you got AOR already, no worries.

Welcome JohnKayBlessed very easy I have seen a case like this what you need to do document everything and send to IRCC let me explain

IRCC’s Usual Requirement:

For most permanent residence applications, IRCC requires police certificates from every country where you have lived for 6 months or more since the age of 18.

However, they also recognize that some applicants may have difficulty getting a PCC from certain countries (e.g., countries where they are refugee claimants).

if You Can’t Get a PCC:
if the authorities in your current country refuse to issue a PCC (or say it might harm your asylum claim), you should:

Provide written proof that you tried to obtain it (for example, a letter from the police explaining why they can’t issue it, or why applying might endanger your status).

Include a detailed explanation with your application explaining the situation.

What IRCC will Do:

They often understand these situations and may grant an exemption if you demonstrate that it’s genuinely impossible to obtain the PCC.

They will wave it for you but you must show proof email from the police department or written letter something that can be traced back to the police office

what you should do
Collect any correspondence or refusal letters from the police or other authorities explaining the impact on your status.

Write a clear, concise letter explaining your situation, referencing the fact that you’re an international protection applicant and that obtaining a PCC could jeopardize your claim.

Attach these documents to your application under the “Police Certificates” section.

If possible, also mention any steps you’ve taken to try to get the PCC (emails, appointment records, etc.). This shows you made a reasonable effort.
Hello,

Thanks for your advice the other day. I did all you mentioned but I am still being asked for the PCC. Please, what's the way forward on this?

Hey, it would be better if you contact a registered immigration consultant. There’s something in your application they are not convinced about, or something you may not be doing correctly. Try searching for one in the closest city to you.

Since your IELTS expires November 2025, you must submit your e-APR before then.

After submission, you don’t need to worry about the expiry date anymore.

Good day everyone.
Please it’s my first time write here, I’m a German citizen but for the past three months I’ve been living and working here in Paris France. I have been researching on the best possible way to migrate to Canada so I will be able to petition for my boyfriend who currently resides in Nigeria and it’s seems the express entry route is my best belt. I currently hold a bsc, msc and almost done ( just my final defense) phd in public health, and currently works as a junior researcher ( public health scientist) with over 5 yrs working experience and I’m 32yrs old. I don’t really understand how the points are been calculated and I just wrote my TEF exams few days ago. Attached are my tef results and I really don’t know if it’s ok to go with.
Please pardon me for the typos
Using the information you've presented here (including your masters as your current highest degree).
You have a CRS score of 415. If you had this score as at last year, you would have met the requirements for multiple french draws and gotten an ITA or probably your PR by now.
But this year, it's been much more competitive and the draws are higher (last French draw was 481).
You would easily get and surpass this CRS score if you have a solid score in the relevant english proficiency exam. That would put you on the right path to get invited to apply for a permanent residency.
Very good french scores by the way! Bon Courage !

Congratulations 🎉 on your approval (awaiting RFV).

Hello guys, I was browsing through lead city university portal and found a short course in Early childhood care education which is for six weeks. I had already evaluated my OND and HND as two or more certificates, do you think this six weeks course can be evaluated by Wes or I should just focus on PGDE (I am asking for the education category because I have gone back to teaching)

Thanks in anticipation

Don’t bother with the 6-week Early Childhood Care certificate if your goal is WES evaluation for immigration/education equivalency — it won’t count.

Instead, if you want to strengthen your profile for teaching and immigration, the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is the better option

Hello Family,

My wife got her COPR last year and we got married this year. She’s yet to land and now trying to add me to her COPR.

Anyone knows how long this takes and if there’s anyway to expedite?

P.S. A web form was raised to provide the requisite documents (i.e. forms, marriage cert, police report etc) to prove legitimacy of marriage. This was acknowledged and a call was put through some weeks after to follow up. IRCC agent we spoke to confirmed receipt, opened the application manually as it’s luckily being processed in CA and assured it’s being worked on.

Thanks.

Since it marriage before landing after COPR issued , IRCC will cancel her old COPR and re-assess the application to include you, which requires your medical and background checks before issuing a new COPR for both of you. The timeline is not fixed and usually takes a few months to a year, and there is no official way to expedite the process.

Do you think a new PoF will be required?

Can someone initially with a Tech noc code get a 6 months work experience in health, choose the health noc code as a secondary noc, receive ITA, and it doesn't raise a red flag?

From my understanding, if you can sufficiently prove the 6 months WE with relevant documents, there shouldn't be any problem.

Hello everyone. In preparation for receiving ITA, my husband insisted that we go and process the PCC in June. I wanted to wait until we got the ITA, but he was of the opinion it was better to do it then, so I conceded. Now, we have gotten the ITA, but the PCC states that the certificate is only valid for 3month (in our case that will be September 11). Unfortunately, I do not think we will be able to submit our application before then. Any suggestions on what we can do? Do we go ahead and apply for another one or just use the one we have? Thanks for your response.

Globus and Parallex are commercial banks and accepted by IRCC, but they’re known for POF “runs.” Avoid using a new account for POF, as IRCC requires at least 6 months of bank statements so u can use globus just avoid new account without 6 month bank statement.
What if the money there is a gift, even though the account is new. Will it still present a problem?

Bon après-midi (Good Afternoon) my people
Please I started learning Francais right from my Primary 1 up to JSS3.

Can I just go ahead and attempt the TEF exams?
Or do u think one needs Tutorials?

2) What is the essence of the French proficiency in this Canada Express Entry?
I thought Canada is an English speaking country.
