Popular Nigerian rapper Keshinro Ololade, widely known as Lil Kesh, has finally spoken out following a terrifying attack that left him injured in Lagos earlier this week. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday, when the music star was ambushed by unidentified attackers who allegedly attempted to rob him of his valuables, including a chain. During the altercation, Lil Kesh was stabbed in the neck and ear, resulting in serious injuries.

Shocking images from the scene quickly surfaced on social media, sparking a wave of concern from fans and fellow entertainers. The 30-year-old rapper was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he received medical attention. Doctors were able to stitch his wounds and stabilize his condition.

Breaking his silence through a post on his Instagram story, Lil Kesh described the incident as an unexpected blow but expressed deep gratitude for life and recovery.

Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he shared.

Re: Lil Kesh Breaks Silence After Surviving Violent Attack In Lagos by ARISHEM:
Nigerians and Celebrities that love to show off chains and jewelries in an unsecured environment should learn from this.
Was it not this same week one businessman they call Obama of Lagos was robbed at gunpoint of his bracelets and N40 million naira gold chains he put on his neck in broad daylight on a busy street.

It’s not advisable to show off expensive jewelries worth tens and almost hundreds of millions in a place where your security is not guaranteed. A hungry man is an angry man. And some hungry people are angry at this economy and in wickedness will not hesitate to go after your life to rob you of such things because they feel offended as they cannot afford such things.
We are just 10 days to the ember months.

Lesson:
Stop walking around with chains of hundreds of millions of naira on your neck, calling it fashion when millions of people can't afford three square meal.
All of us are not the same.
While some of us are children of God, several are children of the devil.

Many of them are reading my post right now.

Guys, I no get chain o.
Infact Lucy my neighbour just knock on my door and gave me rice with groundnut soup.
Wetin I go chop for evening dey God's hand.
Merci Boucou.

Sometimes when some of you folks type, one wonders if you reason from your anus.

Advising Lil Kesh not to wear a jewelery he bought with his hard earned money because some lazy mofos are hungry is tantamount to telling a beautiful lady not to wear skimpy dresses because some low lives are Hot.

Very soon, you folks will advise us not to drive our cars again because a lot of people can't afford even Okada.

All of una brain dey shake!

Lagos State government should wake up to her responsibilities. The crime rate in Lagos is unbecoming. Shey until all of us start to dey carry gun ni? angry angry

Great points...

But sadly, when the gap between those who can feed and those that can't keeps widening due to the economy and low employment, such crimes targeted at the wealthy and even middle class will only worsen.

That's the vicious cycle and circle of failing societies.

Even in the United States, there are places you don't "show off". Just dressing in designer outfits alone will certainly get you mugged.

Same with Jamaica, South Africa, etc.

Bros, I totally get it. But my anger was borne out of the fact that almost all the commenters were blaming him like it was his fault. Not even a single blame was apportioned to the vicious, cruel and lowlife attackers. sad sad

Of course I know the widening economic gap can lead to a surge in crime rate, isn't that why we have the law? To punish anyone who tries to get anything from another person by force.

The manner in which the commenters above were justifying such vicious attack irked me. Of all the criminals that I can forgive, you see robbers (whether armed or unarmed), rapists and murderers. I no dey ever wan use eye see any one of them. They deserve a slow and painful death.

The security situation in Lagos state is becoming worrisome. The government should wake up! If na to collect tax nau, dem no dey waste time. Shior!

I was once close to this experience; was with my girlfriend (ex) back then in a quiet lonely street (8-9pm) discussing and cuddling when 2 red lights beamed from a distance, i thought they were just smoking their own and will leave anyway, then the red lights approached, it revealed to young men, one first came asking friendly questions "u dey stay around here?, Where u from?, U know me?, Where u dey work" I thought oh probably a vigilante doing his patrol, didn't know he was sizing me to know who i am and wether i stayed around that area Incase i might recognize his face in day time, he left us for a while and went to the other one, they chatted for a while, at this time i caught on to the foul play before me and ask my babe let's leave there, as we stood up to leave the other one waylaid us and asked us to give our phones over, good thing i wasn't with mine, my girl brought out hers, i made a gesture to the guy to remove the Sim and take the phone, the guy probably thought i was going to do something funny and brought out a kitchen knife "if u try anything i go put this knife for ur neck", I told him i just wanted the sim that's all. That was how they left with the phone that night, my girl cried and cried, kept telling her was it not better it was the phone they took and not a life.
