ofoka:. government cannot operate and run refinery effectively..it's the private sector private oil operators, entrepreneurs that can operate and run refineries effectively and better..so the federal government should slell out the government refineries to the private sector private oil operators, entrepreneurs for them to operate and run it effectively...that is the solution |

Melagros:Can it be that ebilokan is afraid of Dangote crashing petrol price below N200 it was in January 2023 when he promised that in Abeokuta? Who knows whether Dangote has the magic to crash the price to N70 it was when PDP deregulation and privatisation capitalists licensed the refinery? What happened to APC N40 petrol promised in 2015 before we allowed them to implement their change, unknown to us that they were going to do us shege banza ![]() https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/buharill-reduce-petrol-to-n40l-david-west/ anonimi: |

agabusta:Making Dangote refinery compete with importers instead of potential local producers,is the highest level of economic stupidity. Monopoly that boosts our forex reserves,is better than imported competition that drains our forex reserves . Weak Naira is worse than any feared high local price of petrol. Government should ban importation of petroleum products immediately ! |

Tochitee:these south westerners always talk with both sides of their mouths. Is it not in Nigeria that this administration hurriedly commissioned port Harcourt and Warri refineries to compete with Dangote refinery? Where are those refineries? One NNPC man said that Dangote petrol has too much sulphur. Now NNPC refineries are not working but the government allow them to be importing petrol just to bring Dangote refinery down. What of the Oando issues with having refinery in Malta to undermine Dangote refinery? Your plans against Dangote refinery has failed, now you have made a U turn to appear to be supporting him. Your deceit can never be hidden again, everyone is wiser now. |

PulaPower:Yes, very silly and grossly pessimistic but omo, I want to see it succeed. But that's not the reality. In 2005 many countries of the world already have stable electricity. Some have 70-80% stability.. 20 years from 2005, stable countries are still stable. Those within 70%-80% then have joined their ranks and have achieved distribution of electricity down to the rural areas.. How far has Africa got from 2005 starting with Nigeria? Not production capacity, but distribution to the remotest if villages. Please educate me rather than calling me silly for not having blind faith.. |

Nico360:So what enlightenment works are you doing to make more people like regionalism and autonomy, which you know will produce a better system of government? What did your own senator and representative in Abuja say about your proposal? Are they going to lobby other senators and representatives to include the amendments in the 6th Amendment to the 1999 constitution currently being debated? anonimi: |
