Who Is The Poorest Person?

The poorest person isn't the one without money but the one without Jesus.

Jesus said, "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?" Mark 8:36

Any soul without Jesus is lost and without any hope of eternal life.

So it doesn't matter how rich you are, if you don't have Jesus in your life, you're actually living in abject poverty, because the riches of this world is nothing but vanity which can pass away at any moment.

But it's the true riches which comes from Christ that shall never fail but abides forever.

So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

As time passes, we realize that poor people are not people who don't have money. They are people who spend money faster than they make money. Poverty is clearly a state of mind. The poor can sacrifice the promise of a glorious tomorrow for the pangs of immediate gratification in a heartbeat. God has blessed everybody, but not everyone appreciates the blessings enough to use them well and make the most of them! Let's be wise!

MONEY IS WHAT MONEY CAN BUY.

So the poorest person truly is not the one without money, but the one lacking anything that can be converted to money eg assets, ideas, knowledge, skill, talent, etc.

Though what OP is talking about is that as a Christian, your salvation is worth more than any amount of money.

The poorest person in the world is the one without a good Conscience..

So many claim to know God and even have Jesus but their bad conscience betrays what they say.

People with Good conscience will only make the world a better place.

I don't care what anyone says. You can have wealth, health, a proper relationship with God, be fashionable, travel around the world, have a thriving business, a great spouse that is phenomenal in every way, good and responsible children etc.

Poor is poor whether you have Jesus or not. Even bible recognizes the poor and the rich. Disciples of Jesus joined in eating the five loaves and two fishes. If they were not poor, they would have eaten fried rice and chicken instead. When your pocket is empty, you are broke and that's final. Don't provoke me this morning with this your selectional interpretation of the Bible.

Poverty is multidimensional.

I dont believe having Jesus can save someone from material poverty. It may, but there is 100% certainty.

To me, poverty is when you have a lot (including mental health) , but you still think you are poor.

Fact is spiritual poverty is different from material poverty.

Spiritual wealth doesnt mean you must be a christian to achieve it. in fact Christianity and other main steam religion like Islam, makes you spiritually ignorant, poor and forsaken.

Knowledge of the universal laws on spirituality is the truth that can set you free from both spiritual and material poverty.

They do not understand......why didn't these people continue publishing and updating Bible stories with more recent events....we must not stuck to old teaching that suites the then era.

The list of the richest 10 Pastors in the world have nothing less than 4 Nigerian pastors on the list. But take a look at the list of riches churches in the world not a single church from Nigeria on the list.

How much does a retired pensioner who served for 35 years, say a retired permanent secretary in Akwa Ibom State earns under Pastor Eno's regime. When i say that Nigerians have been captured by politicians it seems i am joking but its true.

I know, I am talking to people who believe that they can't have it all, especially wealth and spirituality.
