Most Nigerian footballers and entertainers with entitlement mentality are like 5 & 6. When you choose to live a celebrity lifestyle without first saving and investing your money in a profitable venture and you spend all your money maintaining your celebrity lifestyle, the country will later become the source of your downfall.

Most of them lived a very expensive and extravagant lifestyle,.spending lavishly on ladies, expensive clubs, hotels and cars. Some of them Na steady first class or chartered private jet them dey fly when on person trip

Not always correct though. We should all be grateful for good health. There are some medical treatment that CAN make you broke, even if you saved during your sunny days.

Most of these players come from poverty and are clueless in managing such huge windfalls. The same happens to most who become instant multi millionaires after winning lotteries ...broke after 5 years. Financial literacy is key

Our greatest problem is that majority of us lack financial discipline and proper planning towards the future.

An average European players are already planning towards their retirement ten years ahead. Some will join the coaching crew and start taking courses in coaching. While some will start investing in a football club while some will start a football academy, training future players which he will later be their agent in the future.

Footballers or not, everyone must have a retirement plan in whatever field we found ourselves.

The biggest investment in life in human investment. Many of our football players during their time couldn't point a single footballer they mentor, sponsor to attain greater height.

Old players in particular could be largely exempted in this case because of low pay back then and low awareness. Most of the lessons learnt from these old players are encouraging the newer players to plan and save better. Like in Nollywood too, old actors and actresses were broke not knowing what the future held

And if these players don’t help you will all say they are stingy …Nigerians are too gullible and emotionally judgmental…getting broke don’t always means been extravagant but not having a good financial adviser…nobody is perfect and don’t blame your mates for their mistakes
