The Israeli Air Force is carrying out strikes in the Houthi-held capital of Yemen, Sanaa, according to local media.

There is no immediate comment from the IDF.

The strikes come after the Houthis on Friday launched a drone and a ballistic missile carrying a cluster bomb warhead at Israel.

Sanaa residents said the strikes targeted areas near the presidential complex, missile bases, and oil and power stations.
On Friday, the Houthis said they had fired a ballistic missile towards Israel. An Israeli Air Force official said on Sunday the missile most likely carried several sub-munitions "intended to be detonated upon impact".
"This is the first time that this kind of missile has been launched from Yemen," the official said.

Since Israel's war in Gaza against the Palestinian terrorist t group Hamas began in October 2023, the Iran-aligned Houthis have attacked vessels in the Red Sea in what they describe as acts of solidarity with the Palestinians.
They have also frequently fired missiles towards Israel, most of which have been intercepted. Israel has responded with strikes on Houthi-controlled areas, including the vital Hodeidah port

The question I am asking is are these bombed building not occupied by people do they just bomb without knowing if civilians live there?

Abeg, close your mouth there. Did the Houthis consider that Israel could respond in the best possible way they dim fit? Why did Houthis not target military infrastructure if your argument is to be used?

Right from 2015, the Houthis have faced an incessant barrage of missile attacks from a combination of Gulf countries led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with technical support coming from the US military. The Houhis bravely withstood these violent encounters over the years. The so called Israeli airstrikes will not make any significant difference.
