Like I said before, y’all are making predictions and speculations. The shortlist of prospective awardees has been done. However, the list will be released when the Department of Education is ready, and that’ll be when the Executive Secretary has made his final approval, which could be any time/day even today, tomorrow or next week. Until then, any date given here is just a speculation.

Okay one of the credible people here that I have been waiting for has spoken. Thanks. Everybody should move on for now, when they are ready they will award accordingly. Bye.

I agree, she also did mention that the shortlisting of prospective awardees had already been done, and that it's just final approval pending - which could be anytime. So let's see.

Exactly this. Waiting can be tough, but at this rate, all we can do is wait it out. It will be out whenever they are ready to release it and nobody knows when for sure. Since the shortlisting has already been done, it can be anytime. All the best everyone.

How many times have we told y'all that these are all speculations. They are just speculating and hoping one of the nights will be right. At this time it's like talking to a wall, just wait, when PTDF is ready mails will drop. Save your BP and stay calm.

You guys make it sound like someone just wakes up and cook news. Did my source in PTDF confirmed? Yes, Did it turn out wrong? Yes. These two things can equally be true. But, you are right, once beaten twice shy, I will stay back now and keep whatever I am told to myself since it's obviously not bearing any fruit and as such not helpful. Let's wait together.

I never said you cooked it. All I was saying was that it's possible that even the sources are speculating. Anytime the Executive Secretary is ready for it to be released, he will OK it, until then it's possible those around him are only speculating.

Well, congratulations in advance to those who have been selected and to those who might have to try once again. Please don't allow anxiety to weigh you down. I was once anxious like this two year ago and almost left every other opportunity slip by my hands, but graciously I got selected. So just be calm and don't give yourself high blood pressure. If your name is there, believe me, no human can remove it, and if it's not there, try again. For mine, the mail dropped over the weekend. it was a friday and the official list didn't come out till the following week after we got notification that we were selected. So be calm and relax

Life ehn… truth is, each PTDF candidate has about a 96% chance of not winning. Yet here we are, anxious, and emotions all over the place, holding on to that fragile 4% that maybe, just maybe, our names will be there. Hope is powerful, but let’s also manage our expectations. If it doesn’t happen, we won’t be broken, because life is bigger than one scholarship

Yes, and have opportunity to check other universities, like the university I really wanted (Liverpool) were asking for WAEC for the English stuff and is NECO I am using and they won't accept letter from the school I got my B.Sc as alternative.

Email the school, since they are part of the approved schools. Tell them you are awaiting the outcome of the PTDF scholarship, and would like more time. The list will be out soon anyway. Don't worry, if you win the scholarship, some schools will be happy to waive some requirements for you. Also if you can't meet up with September, and there are schools that offer your course for the January intake, seek that. Otherwise, defer to next September.
