We should definitely aim to improve interconnectedness across Africa. Travel between Black African nations should be visa free, and everything should be done to encourage cross border investments and studies. I don't agree with any talk of '1 president' We are different peoples and nations. The Nigerian experience shows the problems when trying to force different people into one single nation. Lets celebrate our differences while working together as much as possible. With a population of over 1 billion people, Sub Sahran African can be an economic mega zone with free trade and visa less travel for its nations. However North African must not be included in this, or they will just import Jihad across Africa |

I wonder how south Africa would have been if not the whites. Somalia would have been better Their dark heart, envy and lack of even advantageous competition has no measurement. |

And Iwas thinking that this man was smart. When we're hoping for Nigeria to divide into at least 5 countries, this one is talking in the rubbish. How can you make a conglomeration of 57 countries already entrenched in poverty and underdevelopmemt and further compounded by unbridled population growth?? |

SmartPolician:We have more African immigrants in Nigeria than you can ever have in South Africa. What exactly are you even saying? Must everything be about you guys? The same entitlement problem you have with Yorubas in Lagos is the same problem Nigerians are having in South Africa, no thanks to igbos. Isn't that what the lioness handle is talking about? Maybe you should look inward. |

All these people, once they are in public or invited to a public fora, they would want to say what they think will resonate with the audience. How did he think that the proposal was feasible? How is the control and command structure going to be worked out? Single currency may be considered but not putting all the African States being under one commander -in- chief. The guy is just being mischievous. Even his fellow countrymen in South Africa would disagree with him. He should have focused on the rule of law and justice in the continent than that his unworkable proposal |

Malema’s speech sounds inspirational, but in reality, it’s a disaster waiting to happen. Giving up sovereignty for one president and one parliament means 54 countries surrendering their power. Nigerians won’t agree to be ruled from Pretoria, and South Africans won’t accept orders from Abuja. Africa isn’t one uniform culture; we have thousands of ethnic groups with different languages, religions, and histories. Many tribes fight for dominance within their own countries now imagine all of Africa under one leader. Some regions will feel sidelined, others will cry marginalization, and that’s how ethnic tensions explode. And let’s be honest if one president tries to control the whole continent, how long before the first military coup? Or even multiple coups at once? We can’t even stabilize some countries individually; merging all of them under one leader will create the biggest power struggle in history. Unity should mean cooperation, trade, and shared progressnot erasing borders and forcing everyone under one government. That’s not unity; that’s chaos with a nice speech. |
