Good morning, good people. Please, who has an idea how DSS exam is? The areas they set questions from; the number and nature of the questions; whether it's CBT or paper and pen...? One needs to start preparing ahead in case they invite us for exam since the exam is this coming Saturday. Thanks.

It's as if you totally misunderstood my point. Do you know that some people applied for the ongoing DSS recruitment not knowing that if they make it through they might possible be posted to Maiduguri? Do you know that some people think once they become a DSS operative they'll only be attached to VIP's?

Forget about the salaries you are hearing going rounds.. ask a deeper questions like, dss dey get time rest so? how is the working condition like? we dey enter sambisa too? Like it or not, some people cannot cope in some certain organisations even if they are paid 500k per month.

Mind you, I'm not here for stories I was only stating out example on what happened

Is there still hope for NUPRC ? or they are done with the process

Their is this lady I helped to secured a marketing job with Access Bank with the help of a friend, after showing interest I asked her if she can work in Kaduna she said yes and added that accommodation will not be a problem because she once lived in Kaduna and she knew one or two people that she can stay with for sometime before she can get her own space. I said that is good. She did all her documentations online and they sent her APL. To cut the whole thing short, she refused to resume the work that she don't have a place to stay and that she heard the work will be very stressful and if she didn't meet up her target they will sack her blablabla so many excuses. I said it's okay, It's a matter of choice I can't force you but you should have make your enquiries and also open up before now

My point is that, try and know what you're getting yourself into before you disappoint your helper. Their are many people out there yearning and wishing for the opportunity you have at hand.

There are various means to make enquiries, in which asking question and searching for answers are part.

People keep on saying that nmdpr is running on deficit , I am not doubting you ooh but I am yet to hear any report of unpaid allowance, upfront.

As at 2020 when I sat for DSS exam in my state, the questions where current affairs. We only used pen in our booklets. There was OBJ and theory sections. For the OBJ, there wasn't options. Some questions I can still remember are: Who is the head of NCDC (National Centre for Disease Control...na Corona virus period), Who is the leader of Afenifere?
For the theory part, we were asked to make a case of the establishment of Amotekun by SW if it is proper despite having different national securities in the country.
Another question: What are the qualities you have that make you the right person for this job?

I passed the exam and was called for an interview the following day. I did well during the interview than everyone else...in fact I was privy to hear about my performance from a source as I was one of the tops in my state. But when it was time to give employment, I was not given.
I could have given out more details, but dem go just arrest me. I no fit do DSS again even if dem dash me.

Marking is a tedious job. All DSS officers already have their duties and won't leave them for marking overnight. They don't give this marking contract out and if they even do, could they have marked everything in less than 24 hours? From experience, the exam often end in the evening. My bet is that your making that interview itself didn't just happen.

Have you considered marking on the spot after the examiners left in the venue? Like they do outside the country in some universities? It's easier than you think, it takes a few hours cause no be 100 questions they set 😂

Surely. There's no establisbment without positions for SSCE holders. As a matter of fact, that qualification stands a better chance of being employed than higher qualifications such as ND, NCE, HND, B.Sc, M.Sc etc

Thousands of people wrote essays o. Not just objectives. Not CBT.

Marking is one aspect. Recording is another. And then you need to start checking to see the highest scores.

Marking in the venue where there's no electricity and hungry mosquitoes waiting to finish you 😂

People have gotten invite for NMDPRA and NUPRC dated September 2025. NCC,nmdpra and NUPRC have recruited some staffs already this year, NCC are still inviting people and they have also given APL to some people. Do with the info whatever you wish. On this platform people joined NUPRC this year and they are reading our massages one of them rejected it and traveled out of the country.

I respect your experience and even understand what you mean, the experience I talk of I've witnessed first hand (without mosquito, with light and sleeping beds😂😂😂 and def coordinated teamwork. We finished in 16 hours and sent off results by the 18th hour)

I think so bro. The chairman definitely has influence in NNRA, NCCC and REA. The committee cuts across energy-related agencies, that’s why the chairman can step into their functions. It’s a relatively new committee too. So yeah, hold that P.A. tight. Goodluck.
