So I didn't vote Laycon for personality or competition reasons. But let's even assume I voted him because I liked his personality -- that aspect of the game is subjective because it's my own preference. I might like a housemate you don't like and vice versa. So whenever you guys bring up this performance or personality stuff when it comes to winning BBNaija, you guys sound so clueless.

Anyway, the point of my argument to Christlike is that Laycon didn't win BBN because he did anything special. He won because of love and support from his fans. He had arguably one of the most dominant fanbases, even till date.

So there's that. I can move on from this argument when you guys are ready. No I am not in support of those saying he won because he did something special because a lot of housemates outperform him in a lot of tins dat season but wat am saying is dat is not only is fans dat voted for him especially in dat final week. So dos other fans base dat did vote for him must have reasons why they did

None of this qualifies as a reason for why he won the show. If that was the case, Kuture would have more likely been the frontrunner for this current season over people like Imisi or Koyin.

The problem you guys have is that you don't understand how BBNaija is played. It's not the housemates that play the game -- it's the FANS. The AUDIENCE. YOU literally have the power to make or break ANY housemate in the show. We've had real entertainers come here and go home empty handed because they don't even have one soul rooting for them in the Nigerian public.

Funny thing is I even voted for Laycon to win in the final week after Ozo left. I went all out for him, so you guys can dead the narrative that I'm just bashing him, cos I'm not. No matter how good or bad you think Laycon's game was, that's not what earned him the money. It was the loyalty and support of his fans. He wasn't special in that house, and that's just the truth.

People here just don't understand how BBNaija is played. Our version of Big Brother is based on the OG Dutch and British versions where popularity carries the day.

This isn't the American or Canadian version where your smarts and wits take you to the finals. In our version, it's the audience that carries the game.

If the audience loves and receives you, no Jupiter can stop you from glory.

If the audience no send you or your papa, o pari

That's why, as fans, we have the biggest responsibility actually, when it comes to who wins. From the British to the Nigerian version, and every other version that use public votes, I've seen all types of BB winners. From dullards to geniuses, from boring to entertaining etc,
