Let's be honest, saying Imisi is boring is just a convenient excuse because you don't like her. It's hypocritical to claim she doesn't deserve to win while actively supporting Dede and Koyin as your preferred winner. We're all guilty of hypocrisy when it comes to Big Brother.

After all, what one person finds entertaining might be irritating to another(a perfect example of "IRRITATING" to me this season is the fisherman and fishes storyline this season)

Jokes aside, my initial point was never about how significant my sole vote was, but about the collective power of the audience's choice. In shows like BBNaija, the housemates' "performance" or "personality" is simply the catalyst. Their actions are merely content for the true deciders -- the viewers. A housemate's role is to provide the narrative, but it's the audience's subjective preferences, their collective likes and dislikes, loyalty, support etc that ultimately determine the winner. The housemate doesn't win because they are "the best". They win because they are the one most people were motivated to vote for, for whatever reasons those voters may have.

I never needed my vote to matter to Laycon or the other housemates, or to the general public. It was a personal choice, informed by my personal reasons. You seem to think every individual action MUST have a grand, public consequence for it to be valid.

The one that annoys me the most is someone trying to force their own idea of entertainment on others forgetting that entertainment is subjective.

What I find entertaining might not just do it for you and it’s ok, you are at liberty to choose, why should you now berate what I choose as an entertainment just cos you don’t relate to it.

I’ve always mentioned that bbn fans are hypocrites, what you drag a housemate for sometime ago, you’d like on other people in another season.

I remember people dragged the life out of Nengi for being too uptight while absorbing Erica whom Kidd had all sorts with but right now, Dede who is playing a Nengi is being applauded for being good while Sultana is easy by the same people that had loved Erica with her flaws.

Year in and out however, we can’t rule out peoples opinion on housemates, we must talk, drag, mock, hail and all.
