BBNaija star Queen Mercy Atang and her husband, David Oyekanmi, have once again fueled speculation of a marital crisis after unfollowing each other on Instagram. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The couple, who tied the knot on March 16, 2024, previously faced similar rumors in October 2024 when they unfollowed each other and Queen deleted their wedding photos from her page. At the time, she clarified in a June 2025 interview that her actions were to protect her marriage from unnecessary public intrusion.

However, the pair later reconciled online and refollowed each other, putting the rumors to rest—until now.

A recent check by Gistreel revealed that the couple has once again unfollowed each other, with the reason behind the move remaining unclear.

The speculation has been further fueled by a cryptic relationship advice shared by David Oyekanmi on X (formerly Twitter), which read:

“Heal before you date. Otherwise, your wounds will pick your partner.”

Fans and followers are now questioning whether this is another temporary rift or a sign of deeper issues within their young marriage.

Sometimes you wonder what people think marriage is. Almost like they want everyone to have an opinion or drag their spouses at every turn. Why follow in the first place? Don't stress yourself following your spouses if you are a public figure.
