b0rn2fuck:Lagos wanted to push theirs upward then , but i guess they didn't want to create issues for other states and even FG . In the words of Gov. SanwoOlu then ," i would be glad to come on air in January 2025 to announce that his government would be paying N100,000 minimum wage." And also said it isn't a matter of competition but so that staff could have a living wage. Since he didn't do that this January , he might want to do so by January 2026 . Imo State governor has made it a subject to be revisited . |

tunjijones:Imo governor did many outstanding projects with high quality. He is among the best governors but those igbos who hate him is simply because he is APC. Otti is just an average governor just like obi who they over hyped. I have watched numerous of his projects. Just look at what he has done again. He was the first governor who ban the fraudulent school graduation and non usage of text books by younger siblings. My governor Okpeboho, show workings by imitating him cos you governors has been receiving huge amount of money on monthly basis from Tinubu managerial acumen. God bless hope Uzodinma who has set up standard and we will know those thieving governors very soon. Abia collected more than imo from federal allocation. Imagine it was Uzodinma that constructed those pig houses and called it smart school. What south east don't know is that performance is not by political party but personality. |

Paying doctors 5times other workers is crazy, he forgot that every occupation has it own usefulness, imagine the so called teachers are receiving less and you all expect magic to happen to your children |

Imo State will attract more doctors by this move and those states that place no value on doctors will pay dearly. |

Has he started paying it? Or, is it another empty promise without implementation? Until he starts paying it, if not, this false hope is good as nothing. |

This is welcome development and kudos to the governor and I hope those that are still paying 30k can emulate this governor and pay their workers reasonable wages. |
