stainzvill:Only in NIGERIA is a distinction made between Manufacturing and ''Assembly''. In the REAL WORLD outside Nigeria, if you ask somebody, ''Was this thing manufactured or was it assembled?", they'll call you crazy.... Because there is ZERO DIFFERENCE between manufacturing a thing, and assembling it. They mean the EXACT SAME THING. In the US, car manufacturing plants are known as ''Car Assembly Plants''. Why? Because there is NO DIFFERENCE between manufacturing and assembly. So quit demeaning yourselves. It's a distinction you created out of low self esteem. |

Something Biafra did past 50 years ago. Funny lots. The biafrans built armoured vehicles, converted passenger aircrafts to fighter planes, etc. This shithole needs to be pitied. |

Until we can profitably produce meagre items like bolts, nails, toothpicks and pencils, I take it that this is just showcasing our local assembling capabilities. We have no mining sector! We have no steel industry! We import all essentials to weapons. We are not serious because we bring in language, tongue, religion and ethnicity when doing development planning |

Putindbutt:Scam!! Guns imported and only assembled here, which part was wholly manufactured here,a country that can't manufacture ordinary gas lighter claiming to be making guns......what's the name of the ammo set? |

Are these weapons given to the Nigerian soldiers or it's sold to other countries? It will be bad if we see security as only business contracts than security for our territorial integrity and sovereignty. Private military contractors have been used by foreign super powers most times to further their imperialist actions. I hope to see Nigerian soldiers use these. But war is a bloody business and it's lucrative to hell merchants and corrupt military brass who sell out logistics and plans to terrorists to strike their own men |

Reflect7:It's a delusion of the highest order when you have no part in the production of any part of any item but only couple together to make whole and you term that "made in Nigeria".....it's illogical and downright falsehood......America owns the iPhone but everyone knows they are made in china......I agree with you that assembly is a part of manufacturing but doing that solely and nothing else in the production chain can't be termed manufacturing... It's what it is, assembly!! |

If we are sincere then we have to stop spending money importing what we can produce locally otherwise what's the point of even trying? |

They look beautiful but are they working. What is their projectile range , can they match Turji and co's weapons.. But it is a good try, better than what Ibrahim Traore was happy over in Russian weapons fair. But I will advise Dicon get the drone PhD guy in the U.S to come work for them, especially in the area of Swamp Technology, but that is what you need to eliminate a large number of terrorist at once . The U.S and co are already so advance that they are planning to fight aliens. |

You can clearly see the Turkish flag on the weapons. They were definitely not manufactured in Nigeria. Possibly assembled, yes. Assembly and manufacturing can NEVER mean the same thing unless to APC ronù bigotted LIARS. NA THEIR WORK. SAME THING WITH YOUR PRESIDENT. Reflect7: |

TimeManager:The truth is that for a country with the knowledge and capacity and wealth of Nigeria ..we should be building way more than mere local rifles and co ...many African countries like south Africa build better and sophisticated weapons ,including planes and drones ...the truth is that people are dying everyday and human life has no worth anymore ,the truth is that you are not pepering anybody because even in ur village and community ,people are dying of insecurity ,hunger and injustice ,the truth is that no matter how u support evil ...it will always come back to u one way or the other ..,the truth is that billions and trillions are being borrowed in ur name and in the name of your village people and unborn children ...of which is looted and used to do nothing but the fact remains that you and ur unborn generation will suffer and pay this loans being borrowed by those you worship today .the truth is u might not even be around when that starts to happen and finally the truth is u can never pepper anyone who has already seen the light before u ...it is u that will be peppered when ur eys finally open .. if it will or ur unborn children begin to suffer the consequences of the lack of education and proper governance of today .. |
