Same issue I'm having this past week, I installed the app last week and since then I've been mentally lazy. Any slight challenge, I will run to ChatGPT., I think I'm going to uninstall it, because it can get worse. I don't want AI to remember me my name and surname lol!!

They are looking for fools and future slaves.

The world is moving at a fast pace beyond human comprehension. Only IT tools can help kids get along and stay updated.

If you have parental control and firewalls, expose your kids to a laptop and tablet. Get them into programming languages and auto as young.

The future won’t be about those with certificates but those who grew up with tech and access to informations.

IT tools isn't same as social media use.

Everything has its advantage and disadvantage.

I agree wit the post, children should not have access to harmful content online, and it should be used wisely for learning and creating good opportunities.

I find some sites useful and others i discard.

There should be balance both in real world experiences and skills, and secondly in online skills.

I agree, computers back then were not just for the wealthy but for the educated wealthy, people educated enough to understand its value but personally i differentiate between phones and laptops.

Laptops are very boring for anything fun aside from watching movies or reading (which i see as fun). Phones have easy keypad structure that makes it easy for games, chatting etc.

I had to spend 4 months to learn how to type really fast and accurately on my laptop, you don't need that level of commitment to type on phones. A laptop can also seriously aid you in work related activities (programming, designing, animation, ms office) a phone has limited potential.

A child's brain develops over time. Phones and similar electronic gadgets are believed to cause distractions for kids and they impact negatively on their development. More especially, they're so addictive and there's a limit to what the parents can control. Except if you're with the child 24/7.
