Everything is now calm. Both the stabbers and the stabee unfortunately lost their lives.
The Igbo man who stabbed the Yoruba man died?

[quote author=Segzy19 post=136604726]As he couldn't control his anger, he will now spend the rest of his life being miserable in kirikiri where he will regret this very day....

I hope this doesn't stoke tribal tension sha[/quote

This is so sad. First time I am ever hearing of a clash between a yoruba trader and igbo trader in lagos in my entire life and I've lived all my life in Lagos. Omo this is not a tribal matter but an economic matter, a fight over business and settlement. The Nigerian economic situation has made people start cheating people right left and centre, everyone is stressed out.

I think we really need to sit down once more with the so-called British people who founded Nigeria to investigate properly how it came to be.
From all indications, Nigeria shouldn't have been one entity comprising of North, West and Eastern regions. That merger has not worked till today, we are only forcing it for undue marginalisation and selfish gains.
I strongly believe Nigeria needs proper re-structuring. Nigeria will not work with the way it is currently constituted. I will continue to say it.

This is very troubling and concerning.

How does an issue between two individuals denegerate into ethnic squabble?

I blame Tinubu for enthroning tribalism and hardship. And paying people to accuse other tribes for the hardship he has brought.

Humanity has taken a back seat.

You blame Tinubu... You don't blame yourself and your ilk for always verbally attacking other tribes and religion online and offline, you don't blame yourself for spreading lies, hatred against other tribe that is not your tribe, you don't blame yourself for existing to spread hatred, bitterness and pains. You don't blame yourself for always projecting negative opinions and perceptions of others to the outside world. You don't blame yourself for always cursing and insulting others who don't believe in your saviour's candidacy.

Many of you are plagues. You are worse than even the most corrupt and heartless politician that ever walk the this earth.

If the country will not unite why not peacefully divide and become good neighbours.

But he was the one that introduced tribalism in Lagos all because of election and politics Now, ronubandits have seen it as a of life.
Go and rest tribalism has been a problem all over Nigeria including Lagos for donkey years stop blaming it on Tinubu. Majority of Nigerians are tribalistic in nature.

What you think you know are nothing but lies and propaganda.

Aguiyi Ironsi was murdered on 29th July 1966 but you said he ruled till September that means, you added extra 2 mouth to his tenure this shows that you know nothing apart from lies and propaganda.

Besides, Igbo massacre started on October 1966 under Gowon and not may 1966 the way you quoted. It's now obvious that you're the one that doesn't know anything.

Lastly, tell us how Igbos started the war?

Was it Ojukwu that told Gowon not to honour and abide by the aburi accord agreement?
Did Ojukwu just wake up one morning and declared a country just for the fun of it?

Useless lies and propaganda from irrelevant being.

Rather than allow fragile peace to reign, the bigotry has left street renaming and has gone into the markets. I pray igbos don't retaliate.
That's the only thing

Same Omatseye is IGBO that did same

Leave the North out of this and face the IGBOs directly...

Thank you very much grin
U should have asked the guy who introduced insult against our leaders , when Jonathan was in power what did they do? Was it like that before?
What amount of insult that they didn't ditched out to Jonathan.
Is that not what gives birth to all the problem we are facing today against each other?

They believe that he is a master strategist.

For the first time in history of Nigeria where the president and the vice are of the same religion if others want to start their own they will start looking for whom to attack forgotten that they are the one that first started it.

Nigeria police statement in this matter shows how biased and corrupt the system is. They claimed it was a ‘free for all fight’. This is wrong.

The report also said that Sodiq was stabbed by Adindu…it painted Adindu as the aggressor. This is wrong.
Why is Nigeria like this??
Both individuals were arguing and sadly the argument degenerated into violence with Sodiq attacking Adindu with a broken bottle. Adindu was first attacked and stabbed with a bottle by Sodiq, Sodiq was overpowered and disarmed with Adindu stabbing him in the neck with same weapon.

Yoruba people rallied, invaded the market and started attacking everyone even people who weren’t aware of the fight. That caused commotion with everyone running helter shelter.

Igbo people and victim mentality are 5&6. If an average Igbo person didn't blame Yoruba people for their self-inflicted wounds, he would feel incomplete. Learn your history and stop nauseating Yoruba people with your victim mentality. Yoruba people didn't cause your problems. Hold the likes of Ojukwu, ZIK, Ironsi, etc, accountable for the problems you Igbo people are facing today. Are the Yoruba people behind the killings going on in the South East presently, and are the Yoruba people sponsoring IPOB to cause the destruction of lives and properties in the South East of Nigeria? Igbo must stop blaming Yorubas for the failures and/or short-sightedness of the past Igbo leaders.

Only 4 countries fought for Nigeria during the civil war, namely the UK, the Soviet Union, the USA and Egypt, while France, Portugal, Israel, China, mercenaries and South Africa and Rhodesia fought exclusively for Biafra.

It is shameful. Nigeria police is neck deep in corruption.
Sodiq attacked Adindu first before Adindu reiterated and stabbed him back.

The Yorubas seeing their man in a pool of his own blood mobilised. Even Igbo traders helped to restrain Adindu.

It is amusing seeing your likes running your mouth over tribalism. What you n your tribesmen did to Hausafulani all 8 years of Buhari what was that called ?!

Even among the south westerners, many reasonable ones disagree with the evil machinations of its ruling class by placing a knife on the bonds the holds Nigerian ethnic groups together. Even northerners are watching with utmost surprise, the manner at which these evil leaders, whom children are all based outside the nation, keep igniting the flame of ethnic division.
Painfully, people like you are paid peanuts to act as their online janitors but no evil ever goes unpunished,if not now then later!!!nemesis is a bitch when it comes calling!!

Na so e dey start. Remember Lagos is surrounded by Yoruba states, the Atlantic Ocean, Lagos lagoon and yoruboid groups of Benin Republic. That is not a place for ethnic tensions. It’s very “blockadable”
