Hmm mm mm mm mm mm....... It happened to me just 5 minutes ago. I lost #6.98k thrice yet the transfer didn't go through. Things like this should spark a nationwide protest... Yet Nigerians are silent. Activists are silent. F00ls are online defending their oppressors. Reno O'monkey is busy criticizing Peter Obi. If something like this happened under Buhari, he would have informed the whole world. Tinubu's government is doing worse than Buhari, yet a self acclaimed Buhari tormentor is busy praising Tinubu. Nigeria has gone to the d0gs! |

BlackViper:Nigerian banks are simply filled with criminals! Until virtual banks like palmpay, moneypoint and opay showed up, Nigerians were losing hundreds of millions everyday to failed online transfers; we all thought that instant transfers between one bank to the other (with immediate receipt) was rocket science And then you'd show up to their banking hall to fill different types of form in order to get your cash refunded, and they would treat you like you had two heads. Most times you never got the money back |

BlackViper:The banks are not only defrauding citizens but the Lugard's Niger Area of a fraud built upon fraud. And it seems we are all proud of it. The FG government and their leaders, senators, police and Judisharing are okay with the system because no one is doing anything about it. |

I fear first bank, sometimes when the network is unstable, if you do a transaction, it will show it was not successful, and later it will be successful, so if you do not wait, and you use another way to do transaction, it will become double transaction. Its better to use Opay. Why are some networks in Nigerian bank so unstable and confuse users. ![]() |

According to him, the telecom operators are like the vehicles taking the bank customers to their bank, whether they get money from the bank or not is not the fault of the telcos. “Operators deliver you to the infrastructure of the bank, we have no control over what happens there. “You know, sometimes, just like the ATM where you don’t have money, sometimes when you interact with the bank, the server is resetting, it’s taking signals from somewhere, and you can’t blame the operator for that incomplete service,” he said. This is a trash from the so called ENGINEFAR, he is not an engineer. The telecom will not even allow u to use USSD if u don't have airtime, the first thing they ask is to buy AIRTIME from your bank account and if your bank account is red, that's the end. There are other hidden charges from the Commercial banks again. I would have STOPPED using commercial bank if not because I'm a civil servant, I had #8,496 in my union bank account, I transferred #8,450 to a POS agent , only for me to have #19 left in my account. The POS still collected #200 charges. The commercial bank only sent a debit alert of #50 electronic transfer yesterday when salary was paid but there are HIDDEN charges on each transaction |

My android phone had issue sometime ago and I can’t access the OPay app, so I decided to make use of ussd, used it between 10 to 15 times for just 3 transactions and I was glad they were not showing do you agree to this charge or showing ussd charges throughout the sessions. My bubble was busted when I was able to log into OPay app they deducted money for each of the sessions and I was surprised. Can’t remember the amount but it is lower compared to zenith bank that I do use also. |

Beyond the USSD dilemma, do you also realize all electronic charges and alert fees are usually not refunded with failed transactions either transfers or withdrawals. |
