I chatted my friend in abuja last two wks
He was my coursemate back in school and a nice person, I told him am looking for jobs, he told me of a vacancy in the company he works known as semafo multinational company which pays 250 dollars
He told me it a foreign company that has branch in abuja
He promised to help me get the job in the available vacancy but that I should send the pictures of my waec ,NIN and passport so he can print them out ,write application and send it to the company
I did as he said ,I sent him all the pictures
I searched the company on Google map but it wasn't on Google map, so I waved it as nothing
The next day he texted me that he have submitted them and that I should pray strongly to get positive reply from them
He narrated to me how his pastor prophesied to him he will get the job and he end up getting it
Two days later I asked him were the company is located in abuja, he told me zuba
The next day I received a call, the caller proclaimed to be in abuja, he called out my name in full and said somethings which I didn't hear clearly cos his English was so fast and phonetics
the last statement he made which i heard clearly was "we will get back to you shortly"
I narrated to my friend via text what the caller said, he started saying how lucky i am,
He assured me that the next call I will receive is to come and resume work, I was happy.
I started asking him about the company and the products the deal on
He told me the deal on Jewelries, Wristwatch, Pendants, Electrical and Electronics appliances, Computer and Components etc and that once I come in as beginner I will work as a packager
I asked him to send me pictures of the product
He sent me pictures and videos,and none of the pictures and videos showed him inside
The next day I asked him to tell me the address of the company in zuba, he replied that if I reach zuba ,he will come and pick me
I asked him same question again and again, he keep giving same reply both on text and voice notes
I searched the company again on map but couldn't find it, I searched on CAC ,
booooom it wasn't on CAC
After some days I made it clear to him that if he won't tell me address of the company in abuja, i might not come
He started yabbing me of not being man enough
I too de fear like woman

Some days later which is last Sunday, he threatened to cancel my application if I don't want to come
I still wonder why a company address will be so secret

Don't be scared just be more cautious. Possibly go with a company or do a little bit of security alertness. May just be a bolt driver.

A lot of companies operate in Nigeria with hidden locations. I may not be totally right though.

It's a trick, your friend prolly got scammed into the job and he's been told to get someone in as well so he can recoup his money, they will still ask you for money. Someone I know greedily fell for this and ran into a debt of over N2 million; monies he borrowed around to facilitate the job which was promised to be in Burkina Faso.......be guided, it's a scam

So forget say you don see job o, continue searching, a friend that we served together pulled this same stunt on me and this company is round Ibafo .
Although its real but by two weeks you go do know wetin you enta .

The company I worked for 6 years in Lagos never revealed their address till I got to Lagos.

If you your friend it's not a stranger and you need the job you wish to follow up. There are a lot of Indians managing firms in Lagos and Port Harcourt and some will not reveal their addresses.

What is the address of Sterling global in Port Harcourt?
I don't even have address as to where I work in Port Harcourt.

There is a reason for all that.

Sterling global is in lagos not portharcourt, perhaps the are registered on CAC, there location is not hidden at all
