LagosOrigin:You will never grow intellectually even if you live for 500 years. Anyone still thinking in terms of APC and PDP, to define Nigeria leaders, is simply living in a parallel universe Nigeria and not the one intellectually sound folks live in. You think Nigeria is UK you can then judge leaders performance based on their membership of labour or Conservative Party? Nigeria is failing because of people like you who cannot even work with reality, fundamentally, let alone be able to discern solutions our nation needs. If it is about APC, PDP etal defining leaders then why has your messiah Obi moved Political Parties three times now and your Hero Atiku at least four to five times? |
4]This is how bad Nigeria has become before the eyes of everyone. The government doesn't care, the news propaganda pumpers are just spreading bad news if it happens in a particular section of the country, while making obvious attempts at sweeping their own bad news under the carpet, pretending it didn't happen. In the end Anasiri warriors will be blamed, and the government who controls the whole army and police, will be smiling from their offices.
Correct yourself. That's how SE has become |

Before your Grand Father was born, there have been communal clashes over land dispute and there will still be, when your last grand child will be born! PresidObi: |

I served in Amasiri. I know about these warriors. They’re actually just normal villagers but can be very violent. |

PresidObi:You've not said anything! The police are supposed to keep security watch forever in the farm? The solution lies with local and state government to settle the land issue, this is not insecurity as you thought! |

aylipple:My dear you don't understand the community you are discussing If you have any friends or relative from either Afikpo or Uwana or Okposi or Akpoha or better still the Edda people themselves that are the neighbors to this particular community, Ask the person about the Amasiri people Do some little research about their relationship with their neighbors You will know that as far as land is concerned, they are very aggressive You can't take a pinch of their land and go scourge free They don't even mind the fg Just do your research The Edda people must have encroached to receive such treatment Even the herders avoid that community Ask even the herders they will tell you chilling encounters with that community if that herder you ask was part of the encounter |

Which one Amasiri warriors? Who gave them permission to take someone's life? Is just been displayed as if they won a medal, Federal government should declare them wanted, they are terrorists, they should be arrested. Remove evil from the land. Amasiri warriors my foot, blood thirsty demons. President Tinubu should wake up, before Nigerians will put pepper in his eyes. |

What a state with violent communities frequently having communal clashes with each other. Having them under your roof is like having a scavenging beast live with you which can strike at any slightest provocation. Reason most Igbo people avoid mixing up with them in matrimony or in business relationship. |

biremi:Thanks for bringing this interesting perspective to my attention; I actually didn't know the history of the communities involved. Nonetheless, I wish an alternative dispute resolution was explored instead of resorting to bloodshed. It's well. |

NewHe:The police are supposed to keep night vigil on the farms if that's all it will take to prevent killings. I don't know why you people cannot go to school. |

PresidObi:Then it's better you join them (the police) since that's your best solution! Do you even know the duties of the police? |

NewHe:If I join them, I will reform them to be a better crime fighting unit not the touts that block every road to collect bribes. Or do you think that's the only thing they should be doing? |

GiftofGod77:Of course, there is no crime in those countries that have wonderful leadership àbi? Their prisons are almost empty and they don't even need as much police officers as they have. As dat my oyinbo friend will say, "give your head a shake" |

You are crying foul, when Oso people killed a retired soldier from Amasiri in June and his and dismembered them without trace till today. Did you come to Nairaland to tell the world. Until you Oso people tell yourselves the truth and recognize that the land in question belongs to Amasiri the better for everyone. |

Jezreelshak:When you served in Amasiri were you at anytime attacked by the warriors you are talking about? There is no smoke without fire. Amasiri is a peaceful place and will always be. |

Ttalk:Don't mind them. They now wish to claim that a problem they deliberately and irrationally caused themselves, against the advice of many of us, is a Nigerian problem. How disingenuous, irresponsible and dishonest are these people sef. |

aswani:No there is but in this case a whole community can rise against another and be killing themselves is a classic sign of no state or any form of security or justice. In those countries there is individual criminality like I saw the other day someone just lit his lighter and poured fuel on a woman who fell asleep in a train o and just threw the lighter on her. Boss she burnt to death o. So that is individual crimes or homicide but sir community to community and for hoy many years...that is my take boss... |
