Affected 'Ashawo' business badly. 95% of brothel prostitutes then were Ghanaian women. Many brothels in Southern Nigeria were shut down. |

The secret is that nobody remembers the region that championed the deportation of people from Ghana. ![]() Same people flooded the educational sector with quack friends and relatives. ![]() They are the same people shouting Respect your hosts. ![]() Nuff Said ![]() |

Yes it Happened but Ghana did Nigeria must go TWICE IN 1969 in the middle of the civil war they mercilessly gave Nigerians 2 weeks to get papers or get out Not everyone they expelled was a migrant to Ghana some were born in Ghana in the colonial era before 1957 when Ghana gained independence A long story but in the colonial era before independence millions of West Africans move to Ghana for business. Many owned cocoa farms shops etc . There was a coup around 1966 in Ghana and there economy started to dip. They blamed foreigners mostly Nigerians They were kicked out and Ghanaians took over their farms and property that were auctioned After that they could not manage the businesses they seized and less than 10 years later they had hunger in Ghana and came to Nigeria in millions Ironically in1983 oil prices crashed economy going down they scapegoated foreigners Shagari asked them to go They did not leave any farms or businesses that were taken over by Nigerians 5hey started it Also 1969 was not the first time There was another in 1959 though on a smaller scale but that is the Ghanaian attitude https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ox-mmELmQ30 |

Tables have now turned. Ghana is now the one chanting “NIGERIANS MUST GO”. Such history gives me the hope that someday, Israel will be history and Palestine will be free from the River to the sea. |

So una do Ghana and others this kind thing. Chai 😭😭😭. But it's well. Those countries have more free spirit and liberal nature than you could get from Nigerians. |

Now it is our turn to get the same treatment from Ghana. I respect Ghana, let them do as they wish. Even if I may not have the chance to enjoy Ghana, but at least i pray and wish Ghana will continue to be good and better for Ghanaian's.THey seem very decent and wise in general, and what i love most they are calm and collected, at least from what i have seen so far ![]() |

Racoon:Remembered this very well. Most of our Teachers then were affected. Almost 70% of them had to leave in Lagos Public Schools back then. Alhaji Jakande employed them then. They were cheaper alternatives. Then, the Buns and Puff Puff Sellers, Pinto Sellers, Shoe shinners, Plastic Menders and women of easy virtues also. Tailors, Mechanics etc. There were reports that some Ghanians poisoned Foods and Drinks just to get even with Nigeria and Nigerians back then. Wow. 42 Years ago. I don old o. |

Let's be honest.. Ghanaians are very lenient people.. Nigerians are unforgiving..if it were Nigerians that passed through this shame they would have long retaliated.. Truth be told |

Wow okay, I am happy Ghana is doing well today. If we had a better attitude in this country, it will be much more better. I can agree with that Nigerians are more extreme and dangerous, they can do wicked more. They dont deserve to have more problems in their country because of us. ![]() Ghana I am so sorry for what we have done. ![]() mightyhazel: |

When a nation is at the brink of collapse and knows not who to blame. They unite the citizens by giving them a foreign enemy. In situations where the Head of State is clutching at straws he will declare war. |

It shows you what terrible mindsets does even to greatness. ![]() It does not matter, even if they person is as great as an elephant, greatness cannot be sustained by chaos. Even small countries know the importance of order and sensibility, without it its becomes a Jungle, and a low trust society, we can become Haiti soon Angelfrost: |
