I have never been to both states but from what I hear Cross rivers is more peaceful and a tourist destination.


Almost went there one time for the annual December festival! Uyo is very peaceful! You can literally walk with your phone at 11pm

But Akwa Ibom are more hostile to themselves and even visitors.......I've heard most of them reject marrying from their place.

It is habitable and peaceful. The issues are dying slowing. For clarification purposes, I was only reacting to his statement about Delta State. I have not been to Uyo but I'm open to visiting there soon, heard it's dubbed "small London" by indigenes and visitors alike.

Very close call. [b]But I'd choose Calabar over Uyo because it has a lower cost of living. [/b]But both cities are just something else. Cleanx very good roads. Serene and chill. So many young fine and nubile babes (tertiary institutions na water), and enough hospitality/fun spots without too much madness or violence.

If you have 2 billion in slush funds and want to retire to a life of peaceful debauchery in Nigeria, where everyday is a holiday, then there's no better place than Calabar or Uyo.

Very underrated places. No be that rubbish, overpriced, overrated Lagos way those people no go take let us hear word.
