Genuine Christian Couples should have a joint bank account! There should be no secrets regarding money! What God has joined together,let no “bank account” separate! Daejumong:Only the highlighted needs adjustment! WHY? Jesus said: “Take care not to practice your righteousness in front of men to be noticed by them; otherwise you will have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. So when you make gifts of mercy, do not blow a trumpet ahead of you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your gifts of mercy may be in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you". Matthew 6:1-4 Note the highlighted (underlined) Jesus said during gifts of mercy do not let your right hand know what your left is doing. The right and left here refers to a couple so when you help someone don't even let your spouse know so that the secret remains between you the one you helped and God otherwise the day such a person offends your spouse the matter will come out. Apart from that it's the best thing a true Christian couple should do whether one is earning lesser or higher. |

Daejumong:This your analysis is somehow please. Stop misinterpreting the scripture. Why not wear same undies, same clothes, same phone and sim etc There's nothing wrong in having a joint account as couples if both can manage it but don't make it a rule. Yes there should be no secrets money inclusive. Many people had their accounts which can be same as their business account before marriage, do you force them to merge it with their spouse just to confirm to what you said? And the two shall become one is beyond having one bank account. It's more spiritual than physical just the way we're bonded to Jesus Christ in holy matrimony. |
