Softmirror:In other climes it is termed lack of competence or lack of integrity. And if he was a pilot, a surgeon, or a structural engineer his acts will have cost lives. When your threshold for qualitative governance is this low you cannot expect anything but chaos and retrogression. My friend start demanding to be governed better. It costs you nothing if you are not personally related to the individual. |

The Minister made a valid point because an unsigned document remains a mere piece of paper until all parties to such a document fully append their collective signatures. What's expected now is for the FG to equally append its own signature and not seek to circumvent it with a fresh round of negotiations. Asking for another round of negotiation is a vile attempt at shifting the goalpost in the middle of the game. Let the right thing be done and be seen to be done. Enough of the shenanigans! @hotseat |

We forget to ask why subsequent governments after Obasanjo refused to implement the 2009 agreement. Bunch of clueless leaders from PDP to APC. |

The relationship between FG and ASUU is very strange and complicated. The FG owns the schools/unis and are the employers of ASUU. ASUU through unionism and politics, have negotiated a good level of independence in finance or "unaccountability". That means FG is just an "establisher" and unconditional funder of the institutions while ASUU are unquestionable administrators. |

Its validity status or binding nature is not what matters but the right steps to be taken in the right direction in a double quick time. |

When I saw some funny characters here defending the government and talking nonsense that ASUU want to deliberately strike to ensure that strikes happened also in Tinubu government and also that they were no agreement and others defending rubbish. I wanted to comment but I decided to let the zombies be. Who is now lying now? |

CodeTemplarr:Of course. Do you want lecturers to be appointed or selected by FG as they do with INEC chairman, supreme court judges, etc so that they will end up teaching propaganda, corruption, etc? |

Advice to the younger one seeking admission, I know you have planned your life but do well to make researches before adding your school of choice. Seeks for school that are independent so that your 5 years will be 5years. ASUU is a weapon formed against undergraduates |

Can't you still see the expression by this administration in admitting inorder to move forward over an agreement by past administration and not this one but still taking responsibility?! |
