Can you give examples of other countries where journalists, party loyalists and activists are given money to visit politicians since you say it's worldwide
One thing I've noticed about you BATists is that you're not really averse to corruption like you all claimed in 2015. You're only concerned about who is doing it
Were you offline when Elon musk was using cash to induce voters? Or is that worse off than paying for journalists?

In this instance, did Obi offer Deji Akinyanju anything monetary reward under any guise? The man who facilitated the meeting and sat all through disclaimed it.

Rather than seek some settlement, Deji went ahead with his defamatory comments as if they have no consequences.
Time will tell let’s see if Obi has the balls to see the matter through at the courts but this is bad optics.

There's always an iota of truth in every rumour. Trying to paint Obi this clean is a falacy. The reason why he hasn't been officially exposed for the fraud he committed under Anambra State is because he serves as a divider for Atikus' votes...

Obidients always fail to see the bigger picture—there isn’t a single politician who doesn’t give money. Offering a ‘thank you’ to journalists, party loyalists, activists, and others is a common practice worldwide, whether it’s called a token of appreciation, mobilization, or by any other name. Denying this reality as a politician is simply digging your own grave because once that activist lawyer sees this, he’ll be forced to respond and further drag your principal. He doesn’t have anything to lose but stands to gain more—so consider how this rebuttal benefits Obi.

Don't drive into whataboutism
You specifically said it is standard practice all over the world to give cash gifts to journalists, activists and party loyalists when they meet with politicians so give examples of such occurring
Don't veer off into Elon Musks and voters. That's a false equivalent

It’s a standard practice for wealthy individuals to use their resources to influence politics; otherwise, why don’t poorer people occupy top leadership roles like presidents or prime ministers, even in first world countries? Do you think Donald Trump’s money played no role in his rise to the presidency? Billionaires like Michael Bloomberg and Elon Musk have directly or indirectly monetized the electoral process to support their preferred candidates. Musk, for example, even went as far as paying voters—a practice that would be almost impossible in Nigeria. To really understand how politics works, you need to study campaign finance; money is essential to running political campaigns and gaining influence, whether openly or behind the scenes.

"A renowned journalist, author, and columnist, Ike Abonyi, all you need to do is look at the name and you will know the reason why this biased, unprofessional so so-called journalist will make this claim.

These are the same people trying to rewrite the Agulu con's records. All because of the desperation for an Igbo President.

That's the only reason.

I trust Deji to give more expose ....just wait and see

What about those who once called Obi the worst thing that ever happened to governance in Anambra State when he was governor, but are now praising him and supporting his bid for President? Did their brains suddenly stop working after eating okpa and coke?

Why do we act as though humans were created with a one-track mind, as if we are incapable of reviewing new information and changing our opinions? Isn’t that one of the very things that makes us human—the ability to rethink, to grow, and to change our minds as often as we choose?

Even Peter Obi himself is now in alliance with the same politicians he once described as the “structure of criminality.”

Let people support and vote for whoever they want, and you do the same. That is the essence of democracy.

Very soon, others will come out to reveal the truth about how obi gives out bribe under the guise of gift to people.

We have seen samples of it when he gives people money publicly when he was in PDP and even adorned in PDP clothings.

We have seen how he gives nursing students 5..5 and 10...10 million naira (something he didn't do before 2023 elections) under the guise of giving gift.

We know him.

We all know how the mo.b threatened supreme court justices to the extent of revealing their identities and their families identities.

We all know how they threatened to kill seyi law's daughter simply because seyi chose to follow his mind.

We all know how they threatened joke Silva simply because she believed she has her own voice.

We all know how they threatened wole soyinka, the noble laureate (the man who even went to prison because of his support for the Biafra agitators in the 60s - even when chinua Achebe was no where to be found).

We all know how they threatened Reno Omokri...it's all in the news.

We all know how they threatened seyi adeyayanju when he tried to criticize the lamba.

We all know how they were suddenly abusing their lamba mistress-in-mischief, Aisha Yesufu, when it appeared she was critically asking the lamba some questions which the lamba fans feel will expose the lies of the lamba.

We all know how they threatened and abused omoyele Sowore, just because the lamba is being put on the hot sit.

We all know how they abused and threatened everyone that does not support the lamba.

Now, it is becoming clear to some people (some of us know the lienus lamba for who he is from the beginning) that the lamba has always been a member of the structure of criminalities.

Even those supporting him now know he has always been a liar and a beegort.

Th next fews days and weeks will expose him more.

We are following the news bumper to bumper.

Tinubu till 2031.

Better to be neutral and let them go to court

Oga everything you said only stem from hate nothing more. You only talking about Ibos and you hate them. Was it only Ibos that voted Obi in the last election? deep in your mind you know Yorubas and other tribes also support Obi but you mentioning Ibos especially is why your hate won't make you rest. I just hope you don't eat or buy anything from Ibo cos that's what will be your karma.
That guy is very mannerless and for displaying his ignoble character on a public forum shows the level of mental poverty incarcerating him. When you speak the truth and stand with Obi, they quickly call you Ibo. We have told them many times that Obi is a Nigerian project and not Ibo. I'm not Ibo, but I carry Obi's matter on my head like gala.

It's just the mob camp fighting back.

Had it been that there was never a picture of him online in PDP clothings bribing people with money, they would have continued with lies that obi does not give shishi.

We have seen him on many stage-managed occasions, giving money to nursing students (mostly in the east) with camera men, portraying him as a giver (something he never was before 2023 elections).

It's as if his camera men crew are always on standby looking for the next bus stop to stage-manage the lamba antics. They look for a group of people and then give them 5..5 million and the n, with obi in the middle, starts taking pictures which will then be immediately published on social media .....no single emotional intelligence or empathy. Just social media theatrics of a lienus of a lambanus.

Some of us give people money, up to a million sometimes, without making it public.

Is it not clear that the lamba is doing it for publicity and electioneering huh

How many people are even proud to have such a man as president with such a vilage voice. No be juju be that huh

I disagree. Peter Obi resonated with supporters because he challenged corruption and the status quo. As a former governor, he knows the system and sought to reform it. That is the essence of the Obidient ideology, rare in Nigerian politics.

Bribery, disguised as “thanks for coming,” should not be normalized. Mr. Adeyanju, acting for the government in power, aims to destroy Obi’s credibility and the “we no dey give shishi” principle.

By threatening to take him to court, Mr. Obi is sending a clear message which is, smear campaigns have consequences, and he will defend his integrity when necessary.

What has Tinubu got to do with me or the conversation

That is the problem with Obidients always emotional and irrational

If a man is arrested on an allegation of stealing does he deal with it or say Tinubu is a thief

You need to pretend to have some exposure and emotional continence

Have you not been living in Nigeria
Don't you know Nigerians

Why do you think this gragra will move a Nigerian
Your mouth no big pass my own

Last last every body go curse demself

You can never intimidate a Nigerian
You know this so what are you trying to do
Win an argument
Or

Win an election

Obidients lack wisdom

To win an election you must persuade people not prove you are right or know more than them

That is why Obidients will remain largely an Ibo thing
This idea of trying to prove you are right and your opponents are wrong
This idea of we know more than everyone
This hubris
These are all ibo characters that will achieve nothing with Nigerians
We know ourselves
We dey outside
Your gragra no pass my own
there is nothing you can say that I will not return to sender
So at the end what have you achieved for Obi
Nothing
FYI, I'm not Ibo any bit. Obi is Nigerian project. We all know that our problems as a nation stem from corruption. The leadership of the country, which you all support and defend today are products of corruption. To make matters worse, you guys claim you're educated. Does your education produce thieves and people of low IQ?

Tinubu has not seen half of the insults you people from the West, including your religious leaders and fake professors poured out against GEJ. See how you're all feigning ignorance because the table has turned today. It shows clearly that some individuals from certain regions don't meant well for Nigeria. All their interest is to hijack the state power. Rubbish.
