Every governors should be made to repay what ever loan they took before leaving office or face life jail after their tenure.
This way, no state will have any debt. If they can not think outside the box and generate revenue from the state to fund projects, let the just forget about the project.

You are absolutely right. The Nigerian community is shrouded in ignorance, fear, complacency and chauvinism. In saner climes, public office holders don't see themselves as gods. They dare not make such bogus claims because the masses would demands for their h**ds. We, on the other hand, don't even know we wield such powers.

Until we have a mental overhaul as a people, bad governance would continue to be our portion. Voting in the "right " people won't change the state of things in the country.
