Many of you keep screaming “Pandora Papers” revelation like your lives depend on it, but in reality you don’t even understand what it’s about. In your desperation to claim OBI is as corrupt as your heroes, you just keep regurgitating ignorance.

The allegation against Obi was never that he stole money or enriched himself. It was simply about offshore accounts which, in case youre unaware, is not a crime anywhere in the world. The real issue raised was that he supposedly didn’t declare the accounts before becoming governor in 2003. But here’s the part you conveniently skip: the accounts weren’t even in his name, they were structured for his children, and he was under no legal obligation to declare accounts which weren't in his name. Verdict: zero crime committed!

So if after 20 years the only “scandal” you can recycle against Obi is a useless, ignorant technicality that doesn’t even hold water, all you’re really proving is that the man is by far a saint when it comes to corruption.

Meanwhile the Tinubu you adore, his name was also mentioned in the same Pandora papers, amongst several other scathing scandals. But of course to depraved minds, "Tinubu is already a known criminal so his scandals shouldn't deter us from supporting him especially when we have an OBI to be obsessed about." Yeye dey smell!

For an action to be criminal, it must violate the law e.g.

1. misappropriation of funds: Using funds budgeted for something to do something else, especially that which benefits you personally. For example, you budget 10 million for roads, but you use 5 million for the road, then put the rest in your pocket and use it to pay your children's school fees abroad like one state governor did.

2. Bribery: Collecting money from a company in order to award them contract, like one former governor and party chairman was caught red handed doing

3. Fraud: Example, the cost of a project is N10 million but you inflate it to 50 million, and the rest is for you and your cronies. Also, awarding a 6-day old company owned by your relative or trusted friend a N50 million contract, then they outsource it to Julius Berger. On the surface, Julius Berger is the one doing the contract, but on paper, the original owner is your company that doesn't have a single tractor or road construction equipment.

Peter Obi has done none of these things, and not just that, these allegations against him are completely false allegations garnished with red herrings to mislead the public and damage his reputation.

On the issue of SAbmiller, Peter Obi indeed invested $30 million of Anambra state funds in the company and today it remains one of Anambra's top IGR company. 5% shares was indeed offered to his family which he declined. Anambra state owns the whole 10% of the company shares. Peter Obi has zero shares in SABmiller.

On the issue of banks, Peter Obi has made it clear, he invested state money in several banks including Fidelity Bank, Diamond Bank, and Access Bank. Fidelity happened to be a bank he had shares in. So because he had shares in Fidelity prior to being governor, they shouldn't have anything to do with the state? He had no personal involvement in the management of the bank.

If Tinubu was Chinese please where would he be? I am here to learn

Pandora papers revealed that he put his own money in a Trust in offshore accounts which a lot of wealthy people do to limit their tax liabilities, and also for their children to inherit their wealth. He wasn’t accused of stealing state money or committing fraud with state money. EFCC has looked at it and they have nothing against him.

EFCC looked into Peter Obi’s case and they have nothing against him. He has no case of financial fraud or misappropriation against him. In order to categorize Peter Obi as the typical politician you have bring something that makes sense, not all these empty blanket statements and entitled opinions.

There's no case of tax evasion against Obi in any country. So this is another useless allegation out of desperation. Having offshore accounts or trusts isn't a crime and isn't the same thing as tax evasion. So stop exposing your ignorance!

Is there any concrete ongoing legal case against Atiku or Uduaghan or George Akume? Does that mean they are clean? EFCC has a terribly bad record in successfully prosecuting former govs. Obi had a serious abuse of office case when he invested state money in his family biz, serious money laundering case when his aide was found with N200m cash in Lagos in 2013 and of course d tax evasion and code of conduct case as exposed in d Pandora papers. If Nigeria was China, Taiwan or Thailand or anywhere in Europe, Obi would had been serving at least 50 yrs in prison by now
