Importance of police check point and stop and search but many Nigerians lack patient and adhere to crowd mentality
For someone like me who likes to drive when I'm visiting my home state, I prefer the checkpoints. If these guys are not there, criminals will be there, it is as simple as that.

If your papers are correct, you don't even stress yourself, they will be the one to tell you to go.

Plus, the way you respond to them will help you in reducing whatever tension that would happen.

If it was Igbo, it would have been emblazoned there. It isn’t which leads me to say it’s a Yoruba name. Why Igbo person go dey run transport go Oshogbo?

I believe the driver's story especially if he is a commercial vehicle driver. This is another example of the risks involved in this waybill business.

Commercial drivers should be extra careful when accepting goods or parcels for delivery
His story is ridiculous. Got a package from unidentified person(s) to be delivered to another set of unidentified person(s), would you take on such an anonymous transaction if it were you?

For real. From Port Harcourt to Delta State has over 15 checkpoints but I still don't feel bad because it is still better than having criminal elements on the road.

At no point have they forced me to give money.

That's what most Nigerians don't know. I make it a point of duty to give them money on my own without them even asking me. I do it as a form of encouragement, once I am travelled and driving my car, I put it into budget.
Nigerians too complain for everything, let the police and army leave the highway and see what will happen

If they leave, the kind of problem people will face from criminals would be out of this world.

He knew who the owner is, he is only lying. How can you collect a parcel and you don't know who the owner is and no phone number to contact them when you gets to the said destination.
He is lying. Nobody do weighbill money.
