Hello,
My meter box is not connecting to my meter, it keeps saying failed. My unit is about to finish, how do I go about using my neighbors box to recharge.

It won't work. The credit is specific to each meter.

NO!!! Nigerian systems are designed to be difficult & rigid.

It depend. Here in Kaduna I use one meter Box (CIU) to load two other meters in my house. This is because one of the box was stolen. The other one fell when it was raining and since then it stopped working The meter box is known as the C.I.U (Customer interface unit)

The CIU in Kaduna is universal. It is not attached to any specific meter

Depending on the meter, it is very possible. But only the guys at the distribution company knows how its done.

My advise is for you to reach out to the DISCO asap, or if you know someone personally there that may be of help.

Simple. Go to your meter. Switch it off and on again using rhe green button.from there remove your cut out and put it back on. Then disconnect the cable and put it back .let it come on.make sure there is light.wait for the meter to sync with the dailer.once it does.punch the token

Yes it’s possible. You’ll need to first of all type your meter number on your neighbors meter box and press enter to link up to your meter before loading the token you bought.

After you’re done, repeat the process with your neighbors meter number to link it back to theirs.

N.B. This works for the Mojec model i use and I don’t know if it works that way on all models
