➜Hope you won't repeat same to your kids?...by now I'm sure you have acquired more than N100m for your unborn kids.
If he is still struggling to get out of what is generational poverty—his very own parents being the enablers of this, why ask him this question? undecided

If other irresponsible and bad manners posters starts insulting your parents based on your write up, it would be funny if you get annoyed because na you come advertise your parents In an insultive way In the first place.

I hope you look at other areas and see that, they are worthy of respect and not disrespect that you are posting.

Don't mind the boy, he think it easy, let him finally get into their shoe, that's when he will know, it wasn't easy then too...

His parent achievements might be some people's prayer point..

That’s how our parents and wives try to play us — “Please just have kids quickly and rest. We need plenty of grandchildren.”

Next thing you know, they’re bringing out the Bible like, “God said you should fill the earth and multiply.”

Look, yes — God gives children. But let’s be real: God has also given us the ability to make them. If you decide to have kids, most times, it’ll happen.

But the real question is — do you have the money to take care of them?

Sometimes, timing is everything. Kids can wait. Build your career, invest, secure the bag — then have kids when you’re ready, and everyone can actually enjoy life.

As for me, one daughter is enough for now — at least until I start making ₦600k to ₦700k a month. Then we can talk!
And na Lafia I dey stay on. House no even cost for here

The did has been done already the world keeps evolving more reasons he has to adjust to it. Many pple grew up with a parent that aren't even doing well than his parent. He should just man up and stop blaming them for what cannot be undone. Most millionaires and billionaires came from terrible and worse backgrounds but they don't allow that weigh them down. He practically rubbish his parent,I guess you are bird of same feathers 😂.

I use to pity my parents when I was a kid until I grow up to understand that they are actually the Problem of their life misfortune ..

The Man story : He started working at the age of 25 as as teacher and worked for 12 years before getting married.
That 12 years working as a single teacher , he couldnt advance in his career.
His mate were busy looking for means to top up their certificate.
Getting BSC, master or PHD or finding means to switch career to get better pay for the sake of his unborn kids rather
He was unconcerned with his NCE.
Bragging just because he is an NCE holder.
12 years no achievement to his name....

The woman: Ordinary primary school holder , the people training her tell her never to marry that man but let her wait and finish school before marriage.
No handwork, no business
She ran away to start living with the so called teacher..

She married the man against the people wish.
Started giving birth to kids including me.
Throughout my 40 something years , I have never seen their wedding pic.

After few years of marriage , she got job with her primary school certificate receiving peanut.
Throughout their marriage they ware going from one loan company to another borrowing money to survive because of lack of planning before they married.

In my primary school days , I could remember how some of the creditor will come to our house and carry property if the fail to pay on agreed date.
This woman will be in the church deceivin herself praying from morning to night for break through.
How can you have breakthrough wen you no get hardwork or business or no school.

You had opportunity to go school but you no go rather you choose marriage.
It was so unfortunate I am one of their product

A child that says his parents are not smart, na on top the same matter na hin e dey so.

Now that you know the mistakes your parent's made, fix it in your own life and leave your parents alone. They already made their choices.

So many people in today's world have been doing exactly that... refusing to make the same mistakes those before them did. And the journey begins with one very important step. And that is accepting the mistakes your parents made for what they are, mistakes which do not need to be brushed aside as anything less. undecided

2.There are people out there who are going as far as not to have kids at all because they refuse to perpetuate the same horrors that were inflicted on them by planless parents. These are wise individuals... wiser than many of those parents Nigerians seek to have praised. undecided
At the bolded, I'm very much inclined.

We are too emotional in this part of the world ! This man told the honest harsh truth . Many of the problems we have today is due to poor decision making skills . Many of our parents in the past made a lot of error due to emotional decisions taken and reality set in and they keep on hoping on some miracle . They gave birth to lot of children they didn’t need .

But look at today ?! People are now making more smart choices when it comes to raising a family , no one wants to keep encircling poverty . There needs a change of approach to the way we do things if we need to move away from poverty as families . We need to make smart choices , hold ourselves accountable and question every choices we are about to make and know the impact it will make in future .

People now have less kids like 2 in this time cause they realize to make them live a quality life and for they also to enjoy themselves they need to have less .

This young man has questioned the past so we don’t all get drenched in same circle of poverty .

I will only excuse a bit them then due to lack of access to information compared to now . But they didn’t do enough . And don’t even talk about me cause I’ve already done enough before kids started showing up .
Well done!

I've been preaching this for almost a decade, dem no gree listen. Just dey born born upandown!

It goes beyond location. You too as the parent needs to enjoy yourself with the money you earn. Life isn't just about having too many children. You need to enjoy life as an adult even before being a parent.

The moment I also start to understand say this life no be miracle everything na maths and calculations..sadly most of our parents don’t understand how life works
Actually you're wrong. Everything is LUCK.
Take me for example. I was born smart due to no input from me whatsoever. Some others were not.
Your parents did not make themselves the way they were including being lazy or not having a hustling spirit. If you go back they'd still do the same things again because that's how they were made.
Don't do too much calculation and maths about life because you don't know what things really are. Things you calculate are one way could be the opposite way. Best advice? Just go out there and do stuff, make mistakes.

There are about 160 million Nigerians today living in poverty with over 120 of them stuck in poverty for at least a generation. How come these phantom blessings you speak of has yet to help pull the millions of respectable children among them out of poverty to date? undecided

Yes, because in the Nigerian context, there is absolutely no evidence of the effects of parents prayers. Over 160 million Nigerians are stuck in poverty with majority having their parents to thank for it.🥱🥱🥱

2. So we are conveniently choosing to completely ignore the fact that the same sheet also happens to lots of non-stubborn children out there whose parents only had good things to say about them? 😩😩😩
