I remember those days, on NTA almost every week, we hear of luxurious bus robberies and then followed his capture and killing. We as kids made a big deal at Bakassi boys activities that if you steal meat from the pot, you will be caught, used charm to detect your guilt or innocence and killed if guilty. Fear struck the very core of our being and we were scared to travel back to the east for Xmas celebrations. He was really notorious and we were very scared of his activities as kids then. I even remember being told that Bakassi boys were from the Cameroun.
