Wether Goodluck Jonathan Declares officially very soon like we Ijaw leaders already know of or not, we are voting Peter Obi. I am unaguably the most popular Ijaw person on Nairaland but for equity, equality and justice purposes, Igbos deserve consensus candidate for Presidency. It is long overdue. No Igbo elected President since existence of Nigeria. Peter Obi or no one else. I'm here under my favourite shade that I relax in afternoons. Anyway I'm here teaching my son the 3 colours of the Ijaw Nation. Blue for Western Ijaw (Ondo, Edo, Delta Ijaws) with 1,143 villages, towns and Communities. Red for Central Ijaw (Bayelsa and Ahoada West) with 876 villages, towns and communities And Green for Eastern Ijaw (Rivers and Akwa-Ibom Ijaws) with 832 towns, villages and communities making the totality of 2,848 Ijaw towns, villages and communities. I bet you always see these 3 colours in IYC Flag but do not know what they stand for. Even many IYC members raising the flag don't know. CoronaVirusPro:Anything is possible because nobody believes a structureless party could win 11 States before. PeterObiGuy:Keep deceiving yourself, there's nothing like being treated fairly in Nigeria politics, it's a pure game, a unique game were all is fair. The three main ethnic nations have the population advantage, the north only have that advantage because of the political unity or marriage or.... Between the Hausa Fulani and other smaller ethnic minorities among them and the now breaking away Middle belt. The south east just couldn't align with another region politically outside the ss/se circle and that can never give you the presidency. They were so comfortable with PDP giving them Senate President year after year. During Jonathan govt, Igbos dominated that govt, you never Heard of marginalisation then, heII broke loose after PDP lost presidency, it was like a film, since then they've been shouting marginalisation, it's my turn etc. Come to think of it, since 1999 which Igbo politician has been serious about presidency? Before the buhari they h*te so much became president he contested about four times before winning the first time, atiku has contested since 90s, sowore has been doing Numbers, before tinubu won the elections we all know how he has invested on his ambition for ages. Apart from Peter obi lately that took advantage of the end sars momentum and materials which other Igbo politician have seen being serious about being a president? You think without collaboration with other regions igbos can be president just on the premises of "na our turn" ? People through their political leaders are extending hand shakes across regions but you are doing "we are a special creatures" "we are better than all of them" and you want presidency to be given to you just like that. 1 Like |
