Racoon:These Nation are indirectly categorised by inventions, exploits and Technological advancement. You only have to read Nairaland to know Nigerians are not intelligent. Like someone said cunny is not intelligent. I would actually say the majority of Nigerians are structurally unintelligent. Nigeria with the combined forces of tribe, religion and a weak colonial education system is guaranteed to produce that outcome. As an example, there is a thread in the trending section about Ibom golf resort. It is a long write up with 4 pictures of the governor. Not a single picture of the subject matter…the golf resort. But the author in his infinite wisdom did not deem it fit to present a single picture instead wasting people’s data on 4 pictures of the governor. We need to stop this idea of blowing up private statistics as authority or fact. How many Nigerians have ever heard of the site, let alone visit it? Its like nairaland releasing top "100 most intelligent countries in the world" when most of its visitors and likely participants are Nigerians and few other African countries. A simple case study you should take is driving on Nigerian roads (Lagos), you’ll find out most of the drivers are not intelligent and do not use simple discretions in many scenarios. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Well, a dataset of 1.3M+ IQ test takers cannot be considered representative of a global population exceeding 7B. Sample size alone does not guarantee validity; representativeness and sampling method are key. In this case, self-selection bias, internet access, and cultural limitations of IQ tests undermine generalizability because a robust cross-national research requires random, stratified, and culturally fair sampling. However, I think Africans will fare better if the test is based on a different kind of intelligence that doesn't revolve around psychomotor, Technical/professional skills or Creative abilities...Asians hold the four aces and I believe they will always win this hands down, so no surprises here, really  1 Like |

The statistics is not accurate. The samples taking compared to the population of the nation are not enough. But in a way, the reault shows that Africans have the potentials, but not showing because they don't have resources to build up themselves. However, when they leave, they easily catch up with their colleagues abroad and even overtake them. They may want to consider taking IQs of Africans in diaspora to see of my theory is right. |
